Pros

Spacious pitches, nice campsite overall with a view of the Vezere and its rock, sufficient water points, relatively clean sanitary facilities and the sanitary water was nice and hot. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Nothing to mention.

Cons

The washing-up water wasn't hot, only one sink had hot water, the setup needs to be reviewed... Pitch/Rental accommodation: Nothing to mention.

Very spacious pitches, a great swimming pool, dogs can enjoy jumping into the river, and it serves as a nice base for canoeing Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: Beautiful, spacious, and shaded pitches

Containers are located at the level of the brasserie, so you won't eat there as the smell of waste passes by Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: No water at the pitches

Good atmosphere, family-friendly campsite, ideal for tents, motorhomes, and caravans. Impeccable sanitary facilities. Location/Rental accommodation: Spacious site, could benefit from being more shaded.

👍 The lady at the reception and her husband were very kind and helpful. The campsite is ideally located near the charming village of Le Bugue and the shops. The swimming pool was great with sun loungers and shade. Various activities were also organized. We wholeheartedly recommend this campsite. Pitch/Rental accommodation: We had a very spacious pitch with both shade and sun. Super! 👎 The campsite closed on September 18th. A few days prior, part of the toilets and shower stalls were already closed. This wasn't a problem in itself, but they closed exactly the toilets that had a toilet seat. What a shame. Pitch/Rental accommodation: In the last few days, there were a lot of little critters, known as “punaise” in French. I don't know if they can do anything about it, but we found that less pleasant.

Pitch/Rental accommodation: the location by the river, the nature. 👎 The service was outright denied to me after a friendly request for help; he preferred to continue on the camping motorcycle. All the friendlier was the staff at the reception. This was the first campsite where I could not rent a bicycle. Pitch/Rental accommodation: the service, when I expressly indicate during the reservation that I am a train traveler and ask if the station has taxis, which can only be ordered by phone with up to one hour wait time, I would send an employee to the station to pick up the guest.

👍 excellent stay. Very effective entertainment team. Good atmosphere in the campsite. The pool is very pleasant. The campsite is near Bugue, just 15 minutes on foot, which means you don't have to move the vehicle. Additionally, there are 2 supermarkets close to the campsite: a 10-minute walk. Possibility to order bread at the campsite for the next day. Location/Accommodation: shaded spot close to the sanitary facilities and the pool. We were able to choose it from 5 available spots.

💪 We already knew Le Rocher de la Granelle campsite, which is pleasant and located in a well-situated town. Le Bugue is very enjoyable. Location/Rental accommodation: nothing to complain about, the location is fine and well-defined. 👎 It can be a bit noisy some evenings, but nothing too serious, we are not fans of collective activities.
