We chose this site for a stopover because we wanted to keep our own kitchen cold, and this is a campsite with a designated restaurant on site even in the off-season. Everything was confirmed to us very kindly over the phone. Also convenient: The supermarket with a cheap gas station just around the corner. The site restaurant is not "haute cuisine," but we had a decent meal at fair prices. There was nothing to complain about at this inexpensive site. The sanitary facilities are simple pre-fab toilet units - okay. We were visited by curious chickens roaming freely on the site - but they didn’t leave an egg behind. Towards the river, there is a spacious enclosure with goats and sheep. There are tall trees along the shore; our 20 m satellite cable allowed us to use a gap for a view of ASTRA. Numerous young new plantings were made in the grassy areas without trees.
