Camping Le Riou Merle

The campsite offers 67 parcelled pitches on a cosy, 2.9-hectare meadow area. Thanks to the loose stock of various trees, you will find both sunny and pleasantly shady pitches here. The pitches range in size from 70 to 150 m² and offer electricity connections with 5 to 10 amps.

Yes, absolutely! Camping Le Riou Merle has a beautiful outdoor pool directly on site. Perfect for swimming a few laps after a hike in the French Alps or simply relaxing in the sun. For children, the pool is also a great place to let off steam.

A huge plus point is the proximity to the charming small town of Die. The town centre is just 400 metres away – so you can easily stroll there on foot. At the same time, you are surrounded by greenery at an altitude of 450 metres and have the mountains of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region right in front of you.

Since it is a meadow area, normal pegs are usually completely sufficient. The terrain is straightforward for arrival by car with caravan, as it is largely flat. If you travel in winter, keep in mind that the nearest ski lifts and cross-country trails are about 20 kilometres away – winter equipment for your car is mandatory in the mountains!

You are well looked after here! In the morning, there is a practical bread roll service for fresh croissants. If you don't want to cook, the site has its own inn with a restaurant and a snack bar. A grocery store is just 300 metres away, and you can reach a larger supermarket after about 1 kilometre in Die.
