Only rental accommodations available. Long, sloping dune terrain in a tall pine forest. A small part of the site is on the nearly flat dune summit, where some of the facilities and leisure activities are located. Partial views of the 100m high Dune du Pilat and the Arcachon Bay in some areas.
Access to the beach via the steep dune (challenging). Easier accessible bathing opportunity with free parking about 2 km away.

A huge praise to the operators! The place is really beautiful and to our great surprise, the 'boss' speaks German! (She is a native German) We were warmly welcomed here with our dog! (although not indicated in the guide) Showers/toilets top clean! The supermarket offers everything that the traveling camper's heart desires! All in all: We will come back! Bernd & Daniel

Small cozy camping site at the southern end of the Pyla dune. Beautifully located in the pine forest. Campsites for motorhomes and caravans are only available in the upper area, thus there is no direct view of the dune. Below are mostly mobile homes and rental tents. Campsites are okay, everything is very natural, so there can also be a tree in the way ;) The ground (at our site) was stony. Sanitary facilities are, well... aged but not dirty. Overall, few Germans, mostly French. At the dune, there is a beautiful spot to watch the sunset! The path to the beach is manageable with two small children, easier than at Panorama Pyla. The restaurant is simple and very delicious! The owner and the staff are friendly and always in a good mood. There was no entertainment for us, it was pleasantly quiet!

Beautiful terrain. Very close to the Dune du Pilat. Relatively narrow roads lined with closely standing trees. Good pitches. Nice staff and clean sanitary facilities.

Beautiful site with tidy sanitary facilities, cleaned daily. In the upper area of the campsite new and technically okay. Father's Day for €22 per night for 2 people in a motorhome with plenty of electricity. Location at the base of the Dune du Pyla with great opportunities to enjoy a sunset. The immediate path to the beach is understandably very cumbersome. The site is used almost exclusively by the French. The offerings are tailored accordingly. The campsite language is French, English is already the exception, and no one speaks German. The focus is on rental bungalows and rental tents. At our time, there were a maximum of 15 motorhomes on site. Sites for motorhomes are nearly all without a view of the sea, as they are located in the upper part of the site. As far as the sea view is concerned, there is a good alternative accessible on foot. We stood at the very top near the restaurant (133) because we did not have a reservation. Unfortunately, there you get the animation (partially live band until 11:30 PM) which is useless for us personally. Adding to the difficulty is the live band (until 12:00 AM) and the very audible pool from the neighboring site. Overall, it is still recommended. For dates like Father's Day weekend, a reservation is highly recommended.

the campsite is beautiful, located in a forest, right by the dune. There is a grocery store and it is not far from the beach. However, the sanitary facilities were dirty and partly outdated. Many toilets were locked by the operator. We found two toilet stalls at the entrance area that were cleaner and more modern. Since there are predominantly small wooden houses with their own WC for rent on the site, there seems to be no interest in modernizing the WC facilities for people traveling with motorhomes, caravans, or tents, as they do not generate much profit. There are also not many parking spaces available for these, as they prefer to rent out the houses. We did not use the animation.
