Close to the Marais Poitevin marshland, which is criss-crossed by thousands of canals, Camping Le Marais Sauvage is ideal for a peaceful nature holiday in the west of France. The ecologically orientated campsite is located outside the tranquil village of Le Mazeau in the Vendée, surrounded by streams. In addition to a tree-lined site with pitches for caravans and motorhomes, the campsite has a kiosk, a small children's playground and table tennis tables. There is a bike hire service around 200 metres away.

The recently reopened site impressed us very much. The pitches are divided into parcels and the sanitary facilities are clean and renovated. There is a playground and table tennis tables. Additionally, there is a small shop equipped with the essentials - including a roll service (upon prior order). Fresh crêpes are also prepared there. Wi-Fi is included. In the surrounding area, one can find plenty of nature and there is also a small river nearby that invites you to go boating.
