Camping le Maior

Very beautiful place that we have been visiting for many years. The shop and bar are lovingly run. Sanitary facilities are always spotlessly clean. Well located for hiking and swimming. It has everything a camper needs.

The campsite is located above the lakeside road, which is hardly audible. The sites in the front row have a view of the lake. The access road is sufficiently wide contrary to other reviews, but it is one lane and therefore it makes sense for one person to secure the way up or down when entering or exiting. The site has very good, clean sanitary facilities, especially the showers are nice and spacious and have very good water pressure. Washing machines are also available. The bar is open in the evenings until about 11:30 PM, and here you can sit very comfortably, and the German-speaking operators are often present. The drinks are of good quality. Fresh rolls are offered in the morning upon pre-order, and the essential items for daily needs can be purchased in the shop. We would stay here again.

I was alone with my bus here for a week and it was just great. First the location: It takes about 4 minutes to walk to a small pebble beach (Lake Garda) or the promenade, about 15 minutes to a small mini market and DESPAR. The site is family-run and has a very nice atmosphere. For luxury campers, it may not be 100% the right address because the pitches are a bit small, but everything is doable! Sanitary facilities were good:) All in all, a wonderfully beautiful stop on my road trip.

Beach very close, also okay with dogs (but it was off-season). Very nice staff, we had a great view of the lake. Breakfast on site with cappuccino and brioches was great. You can hike beautifully in the mountains directly from the site, walk along the promenade to Castelletto for dinner, swim directly at the beach, all without a car! Only Wi-Fi throughout the entire site would be good.

Very cozy family camping site with a lot of charm. Unusually clean and well-kept. Quiet location despite being close to the beach. A good starting point for hikes and explorations of nearby and slightly further attractions. Luigina is the good soul of the place and a true treasure.

Small terrace-shaped space. Steep access. Not suitable for large motorhomes. Not very centrally located. More for water sports enthusiasts and those seeking peace. Always happy to come back.

Absolute feel-good campsite, far from mass tourism and away from the holiday and animation madness. Quite boring for kids. Perfect for athletes and chillers.
