The site is located within walking distance of the beautiful place Beynac-et-Cazenac, right by the Dordogne. Salad, Domme, Castelnaud, and the gardens of Marqueyssac are accessible by bicycle. The pitches are sufficiently large, but without water connection; a beautiful, well-maintained outdoor pool is available from 10 AM to 8 PM. You can hear the road, but otherwise it is quiet. The sanitary facilities are not luxurious, but clean, with toilet paper and hot showers. There was no animation, but in the evenings, changing food trucks were present at the entrance.

The staff is extremely friendly! The area is clean, well-maintained, and quiet. Large plane trees provide shade. The site is separated from the river by a small sandy path, access via a gate with code entry. Recommendations: - Visit the small town and the castle. - Canoe tour (booking possible at the reception - the provider picks you up at the campsite and you paddle on the river back to just before the site). Great activity, not exhausting due to the current; plan for swimming breaks. - Swimming in the river (swim shoes recommended), a good alternative to the pool. - Hot air balloons fly over the campsite, castle, and river daily - impressive and maybe a tip for those without a fear of heights! In the evenings, different food trucks come to the site with various offerings (pizza, fish & chips, etc.), surprisingly delicious.

I didn't know the Dordogne region at all, we were very positively surprised! The region is wonderful and the campsite is right by the water! Very clean and relaxing, in the middle of nature. The river is also very clean, it's very pleasant to swim or kayak down it. We loved the region and the campsite!!
