Run away

July 2025

Thieves, run away!! We had to cancel our stay due to an orange flood alert (in a tent, we didn't want to take any risks). No commercial gesture, no possible agreement, and if you take out insurance, know that it is worth nothing even in case of a weather alert. This is the first time this has happened to us in 30 years of camping. I do not recommend it at all.

All in all, good!

Motorhome

Couple

May 2024

The reception (May 2024) was very friendly and warm. We had not made a reservation and were allowed to choose between 4 possible pitches for our motorhome (we could look at them beforehand). There are several sanitary facilities distributed around the site. These were also clean and regularly cleaned. We did not use the amenities like the playground, restaurant, etc. The disposal station is well located, and you can easily drive up with the motorhome. We had two great nights. The site was half full in the off-season, and it was still quiet and very relaxed. If we are in the area again, we will definitely go back.

Great location - but significant downsides

Pleasant6

Marco

June 2022

To begin with: This is quite a likeable campground where one can spend a great holiday. However, there are some downsides that may be deal-breakers for some. On the positive side, the wonderful location, within walking distance to one of the most beautiful swimming bays in Brittany (the path is not accessible with strollers or carts, and there is no sidewalk on the road) and the proximity to Cancale and Saint-Malo is noteworthy. The price-performance ratio is generally good, there is delicious baguette, the facility is well maintained, and the Wi-Fi is good. For children, there is a nice playground and an indoor pool available. BUT: A farmer in direct proximity constantly uses a very loud automatic shooting device from early morning until night, which fires every few minutes to scare birds away from the fields. As a result, our dog was constantly frightened and curled up in a corner, and we were often quite annoyed. The sanitary facilities are significantly underdimensioned during the high season, resulting in occasional queues. No toilet paper. Disgusting: The chemical toilet disposal is located directly in the sanitary building without cleaning facilities. Many people clean it where fresh water is drawn - impossible. Moreover, the campground is very cramped and confusing, with many small spaces, making it very unpleasant to navigate with larger caravans.
