Beautiful campsite in a quiet location on the edge of the forest and not far from the town of Vendays Montalivet (shopping opportunities). Large pitches of 100-200 sqm. Sunny, partly shady, shady... The hosts are a super relaxed Dutch family who speak perfect German. For all friends of various water sports, it is a paradise, as there are many options depending on the wind direction, as well as some equipment and assistance from the operator. Clean and newly renovated shower/sanitary facilities. Opportunities for sports and games as well as free bike/ pedal cart rental. In the beach resort of Montalivet (bike path), 8 km away, there is a huge weekly market every day in July/August with the tastiest things from Medoc. In the evening, you can get a galette/crepes or fresh pizza made by Tommie and enjoy it with a delicious organic wine or organic beer... hmmmm. Anyone looking for some peace and relaxation and no constant entertainment like in the large seaside resorts nearby is in the right place. My wife and I liked it here so much that we are going back this year to Alexander, Aletta, Sanne, and Tommie ... Visited in July 2019
