Campsite divided by road and Elbe dike, flat meadow terrain. Park-like layout surrounded by rows of trees and bushes. Partially offers a wide view over the Elbe. Adjacent to neighboring campsite. Only the area in front of the dike is characterized by permanent campers. Located on the Elbe Cycle Path.
Beyond the dike, depending on the tides of the North Sea, there is an approximately 80 m long and up to 30 m wide sandy beach, access via 2 wooden stairs. Above the beach, there is a 800 sqm meadow available to all campers.

When we arrived on Sunday, the area was still heavily used by families who naturally took advantage of the direct access to the beach as an adventure (even campfires are allowed). From Monday onwards, it was very nice and quiet, and with a pitch right by the Elbe, it was pure relaxation. A small toilet trailer can be found in the immediate vicinity. Electricity and water are also easily accessible. For washing up, showering, etc., the walk over the dike is not a hindrance. Those who want satellite TV should pay attention to the trees when choosing a pitch as there are no designated plots. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back.

Great place with free parking choice. Directly by the Elbe in front of the dike, possibly a long cable for electricity. Beach with swimming opportunities available (swimming shoes recommended). Bread roll service and clean sanitary facilities. The small toilet house in front of the dike is not quite sufficient, but the few steps over the dike are manageable. It is really nice there, we will come back.

We spent 11 days on vacation at CP Land, in the front row right by the Elbe. Great view of the passing ships and beautiful sunsets, but with the small disadvantage that the path to the very well-maintained and optimally clean sanitary facilities over the dam was a bit longer. You can reach the next S-Bahn station within a 3/4 hour drive to Hamburg, and beautiful bike tours can be made from the campsite to Lüneburg and Lauenburg. The Elbe Cycle Path offers many touring possibilities. As is often the case in Germany, you need shower tokens (5 min.) for showering and power tokens (3 kW) for electricity at the campsite. Always check the balance; otherwise, the refrigerator will be warm! To enter the sanitary facilities, there is a key, so either go together or wait for each other, and of course, don't forget (it's a long walk back;-)). Conclusion: Beautiful location, very clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities, nice campsite operators; this handling with tokens and keys could perhaps be organized differently.

We spent a longer weekend at the campsite. We deliberately sought the peace and found it there as well. The pitches in the orchard are very quiet. The chickens roaming freely are mostly very calming. The fresh, homemade raspberry pie tasted extremely delicious. The sanitary building was just as clean as described in other reviews. We would gladly come back when we want to or "have to" go to the area.

We spent 4 nights during the Easter holidays at the beautifully located campsite. We chose the garden in advance, which gave us quite a peaceful holiday. With the free choice of spot we were lucky and managed to secure the spot that was the most beautifully located for us. All staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and promptly addressed our little requests. The sanitary building was perfectly fine, even though we initially had some concerns that the number of showers / washing facilities might be too few. However, during our stay, there was never any waiting time. We really appreciated the idea of the Easter bonfire on the other side of the dike, which definitely provided a nice change. The only thing that would be a suggestion for improvement on our part would be the relatively late opening hours (sometimes 8:30) of the kiosk or reception for obtaining the rolls. Hamburg or for example Lüneburg could be quickly reached from here, which makes attractive day trips. Overall, the campsite, with a good price-performance ratio, is definitely worth recommending if one does not place value on large frills, such as a supermarket or the like.
