Family-friendly campsite in the heart of France
Camping l'Air du Temps is located in the village of Beaulieu in the Auvergne region of central France. The Dordogne flows through Beaulieu and you can let your gaze wander over it from the campsite. Visitors can rent one of the spacious pitches or book rental accommodation. The campsite is part of a farm with many animals. Fresh milk and home-baked bread are available for guests, and there is also a snack bar and a restaurant. The nearest shop is around 5 kilometres away in the town of Lanobre.
Excursions into the Auvergne countryside
In addition to the campsite itself, the surrounding area is also a delight. In summer, you can cool off at the Plage de Siauve or go fishing in the Lac de Bort-les-Orgues reservoir. The medieval castle of Val stands on a promontory jutting out into the lake. For families with children, a trip to the Valaventure high ropes course is well worthwhile. If you like, take a look around Bort-les-Orgues and visit the leather museum there. A detour to nearby Lanobre is also recommended, as a colourful market is held there every week where you can buy local delicacies.
