Great place, but the service leaves much to be desired

July 2023

A good place for itself, the service could be better. When we arrived nothing was explained to us about how and where to find what. With other guests rounds were made with the golf cart, not with us. When asking about the gas filling service, as stated on the homepage, we were told that the place does not offer such a thing and that we should look elsewhere for gas. Upon my wife's inquiry, we were then given the address of a gas service in town. One once relies on the homepage. And behold, it was simply nothing. Too bad.

Nice Place with Mosquitoes and Owl

April 2023

Without a reservation, we easily get a nice spot for 3 nights. Spacious pitch towards the sea, water source nearby; everything seems almost new and well-maintained. 5 minutes to the big sandy beach. Nice welcome; you get a wristband; Wifi is paid (e.g., 10 Euros for 3 days or 35 Euros for 15 days/device), works well; sanitary facilities are as good as new and clean, everything is there. Hooray, nice hot showers and hot water when rinsing is no problem. Mobile homes also look very good from the outside, large playground in the middle. To the lagoon on the other side of the road, there's also a large area, currently closed. That’s where the pools are among others. Mosquito protection is necessary; Pre-season price is fine; Everything is great, happy to come again! P.S. if you're wondering who is making a consistent sound every 3 seconds in the late evening :-/ It's a little owl, small, loud, and persistent. If you're sensitive, it’s better to bring earplugs. That's nature, mosquitoes too ;-)

Nice campsite with a bit of rip-off!

May 2021

Beautiful, clean campsite. Since this campsite is divided into two parts, we chose the beach side. On the other half, you had to cross a not very busy road. We never saw the cleaning staff of the sanitary facilities, but they were always (throughout the day) in a clean condition. The path to the beach led through an adjacent park. The beach was extensive and clean. The pitches were all generously laid out and also clean. Care must be taken with the feathered creatures (pigeons), as they leave their droppings on the campers and cars. The small supermarket has little selection and very overpriced prices, so we replaced it with a large affordable (Familia) one 1.5 km away. There is Wi-Fi (costing EUR 20,-- per week) on the site, but it is paid and can only be used by one device. Changing devices is not possible. In Pincamp, the campsite is advertised with an ADAC discount for this period, but it only applies to selected pitches. For our pitch, since it was on the beach side, the discount did not apply. Conclusion: Nice clean campsite, friendly staff, but ask everything before reserving.

Great Family Vacation

Superb10

Christin

July 2017

We love the campsite and are already going for the 8th time this year since 2010. The facility is very clean, and the staff is always friendly. In the pizzeria, you get very delicious food, and in the small shop, you can find what you need. Otherwise, a large Penny Market is a few minutes away by car. Every Saturday, there is a large market in Caorle where we get fresh fruit and vegetables. Of course, there is also a variety of other things... ranging from food to clothing, toys, etc.... We also walk to the old town almost every evening after dinner... Beautiful. Occasionally, we also go to baby dance... great for kids. What's also great are the playgrounds... There is something for both younger and older children. Don't forget mosquito spray and sunscreen.... And the vacation is perfect!

Friendly staff, clean sanitary facilities, good food options, pitches large and clean. The beach could be better maintained (remove driftwood in the morning).

At low tide, you can stroll wonderfully by the sea and the children can dig for crabs.
