Frequently asked questions about the campsite Camping La Scogliera

What is the beach access like and what makes it so special?

The campsite is located directly on a protected bay at Capo Vaticano. You have direct access to a roughly 300-metre-long sand and gravel beach, framed by a spectacular cliffside. An absolute highlight: from the pitches in the front row, you have a fantastic view of the open sea and the Stromboli volcano. It's best to bring water shoes!

How are the pitches designed and is there shade?

The pitches are quite compact at 30 to 35 m² and are situated on almost flat terrain with olive trees and grapevines. Since some areas have fewer trees, artificial mat and foil roofs provide the necessary shade. For larger motorhomes over 6.5 metres in length, however, it can get tight – you should definitely reserve in advance.

What should I know about the sanitary facilities and amenities?

The sanitary facilities on the site are very simple and kept in an older, local style. If you travel self-sufficiently and have your own bathroom on board, you will feel particularly comfortable here. You should also have some change ready for the hot showers, as these cost extra.
