Camping La Magerie

A very beautiful and peacefully located campsite with very large pitches, modern and well-maintained sanitary facilities. The view from some pitches is spectacular. You can communicate in Dutch, German, and French with the very friendly Luxembourgish owner Rogier. Every morning, there is a bread service available. On Wednesdays, you can join a communal meal with other campers (please reserve one day in advance). On Fridays, you can order a pizza. This campsite comes highly recommended.

You have to be here to feel the special energy. The campsite is beautifully arranged with spacious pitches and panoramic spots by a lavender field and breathtaking views. The sanitary area is very clean and tidy, and there's an unheated pool (14x7m). It's a family-run site, and you can immediately sense that the owners enjoy camping themselves, which reflects in their support, whether it’s for leveling blocks, electric cords, or camping furniture, all available without rental fees. The surroundings invite exploration, best done by bike, but one should note the elevation profile. A visit to the market in Crest, for example, is a special day event.

It is a great camping site with very large pitches, modern restrooms, and a pool. Everything is clean and well-maintained. You can eat very well in the evening and have breakfast in the morning. Baguettes, croissants, etc. can be pre-ordered the night before. It was a very nice stopover on the way to Southern France. We will come back.

We spontaneously stayed overnight on the way to and from southern France. Very nice and helpful operators. The pitches are really huge and offer a great view of the opposite mountain range. Privacy is maintained by high hedges between the pitches, and depending on the position of the sun, the pitches are shaded by tall trees. At least that applies to the right side of the site. The sanitary facilities are clean (toilet paper is not always available). The pool is also very nice. There is a roll service available at the site, and on some days, you can apparently order pizza. We didn't take advantage of that due to the shortness of our stay. Here, you can definitely stay longer than just one day.

The pitches are very large, the campsite is run in a very family-oriented manner, and the food is great.
