Camping La Garangeoire in the small western French municipality of Saint-Julien-des-Landes is located in a beautiful wooded park by an old castle just 11 kilometres from the Atlantic Ocean. The campsite also has an outdoor swimming pool with a whirlpool and paddling pool. Children can enjoy an entertainment programme and a playground. There are riding courses and guided rides. There is also bike hire, archery, minigolf, a multi-purpose sports field and a sports programme. There is also a golf course 10 kilometres away. Good catering is provided by the restaurant, snack bar and grocery shop on site. There is another grocery shop 3 km away and the nearest supermarket is 8 km away. WLAN is available throughout the site.
The charm of the old castle is felt in all areas of the campsite - caravaning and stately ambiance.

We liked everything; the lovely friendly welcome, the cheerful and extremely helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The facilities are superb and everything kept scrupulously clean. It’s in beautiful surroundings and all the places of interest are within easy reach. Pitch/rental accommodation: For two oldies it was fabulous to have bathroom facilities on the pitch and an extra bonus to have a little kitchen, particularly having a fridge during the heatwave!
