The parking spaces are fine, showers relatively small and cramped. The pool is at the other end and quite small. The beach is not great, a lot of algae and even more rocks. The mini-market has only the absolute essentials. It's okay for a few days, but not for a vacation. 5 days were more than enough. At just under 18 Euros for 2 people, it's very affordable.

A super place. Washroom new and always clean. Pool ideal, supply through a small grocery store. Beach is regularly cleaned.

Beautifully located, right behind the dike on the Atlantic. Reasonably spacious pitches, some shade. Clean sanitary facilities, bread/croissants available to buy in the morning. Staff at the reception are factually friendly. Ate well at the Bistrot du Mata right next to the site. Brilliant view under large trees over the beach onto the Atlantic. Friendly, service-oriented staff. Bistrot Baixtra also right next to the site: good pizza.

We booked this place (unfortunately only) for one night rather spontaneously! We originally wanted to go somewhere else on our way to Portugal, but luckily we ended up here! Super friendly staff, an uncomplicated process, clean sanitary facilities, a well-maintained site, and beautiful grassy plots! Our Pössl fit in very well, and there was also plenty of space for the unconventional outdoor setup (tent, beach shelter, breakfast table... whatever). But the real highlight is the location! The Atlantic and the beach, plus a quiet promenade, are right next to it! Falling asleep to the sound of the sea! By the way... the whole place was very cozy and well-kept! Conclusion: We will return!

We stayed with our camper at the campsite, the pitches are large enough, some have shade. We didn't like the sanitary facilities and did not use them, (it is also not that important to us).

Although the campsite is close to the beach. We were parked with our motorhome in the separate area near the barrier. When we as motorhome drivers choose a campsite instead of a (simpler) parking space, we generally want to stand quietly and relax. Except for the night, the campsite is definitely too noisy! We have been quieter at most parking spaces. Just the habit of most truck drivers to keep the engine running for minutes while delivering, etc. is really annoying!
