Camping La Chaize

The campsite is a real insider tip for anyone who loves a family atmosphere. With only six pitches for holidaymakers and three rentals, it is wonderfully quiet here. You camp on an idyllic meadow on a slope, surrounded by dense forests and wide fields of the Auvergne.

Yes, the campsite has a great outdoor pool directly on site, which is even equipped with a water slide for children. If you prefer swimming in a lake, you will find a nice bathing spot about 7 km away. There is also an indoor pool in the town 14 km away.

You can expect a natural meadow terrain on a slope. The pitches are pleasantly large at 100 to 130 square metres and offer plenty of space. Since the terrain slopes gently, you should definitely pack levelling ramps to perfectly align your caravan or motorhome.

Since the campsite is currently not bookable directly online via PiNCAMP, it is best to plan your travel budget with the following factors:

• Pitch fee for your tent, motorhome or car with caravan
• Electricity connection (10 amps) directly at the pitch
• Dog fee (four-legged friends are very welcome at the campsite)
• Bread roll service for your daily breakfast
• Wi-Fi access, which is included throughout the entire campsite

The journey to Gouttières takes you through the picturesque hilly landscape of the Auvergne. The ground on the pitches consists of green meadow soil. Normal pegs are therefore perfectly sufficient for your tent or awning. However, due to the slope, remember to bring ramps for levelling.

In the morning, the campsite spoils you with a practical bread roll service for fresh baguettes. For larger purchases, simply drive to the supermarket in the town 7 km away. On the campsite itself, a cosy terrace with red umbrellas in front of an old stone wall invites you to relax.

Absolutely, the campsite is particularly aimed at families with children under 12 years of age. In addition to the outdoor pool with the water slide, there is a nice playground for letting off steam. A cosy recreation room also offers space for shared games nights if the weather does not play along.
