Camping La Bédisse

You will camp here on a cosy, approximately 2.5-hectare meadow site that is dotted with shade-giving trees. The absolute highlight is the direct location on the Cère River – perfect for cooling your feet in the refreshing water on hot days or pitching your tent right on the riverbank.

If you arrive without your own tent or caravan, the site has cosy rentals for you. In addition to classic wooden cabins, there is even a cool stilt tent with a wooden platform that offers a very special nature experience. However, these accommodations do not have their own bathroom; you use the shared sanitary facilities.

Camping La Bédisse is located at an impressive 810 metres above sea level in the middle of the Auvergne mountains. Thanks to this altitude, it remains pleasantly fresh even in summer. Since the region gets plenty of snow and cross-country trails and ski lifts are only about 12 kilometres away, it is also a great base for winter sports enthusiasts.

Since the site is currently not bookable directly through PiNCAMP, we cannot show you daily updated prices. However, you should keep the following cost factors in mind when planning:

• Electricity connection: Connections with 6 to 10 amps are available on the pitches.
• Sanitary use: The use of hot showers is usually included.
• Dogs: Four-legged friends are allowed on request, and additional fees may apply.

The journey is super relaxed, as the picturesque town centre of Thiézac is only 200 metres away. You can easily leave your car behind and explore the town on foot. If you are arriving by public transport, the nearest stop is about 6 kilometres away.

There is a small snack bar directly on the site for a quick bite. For larger purchases or a cosy dinner, you don't have to walk far: a grocery store, a restaurant and another snack bar are only about 400 metres away in nearby Thiézac. The nearest large supermarket is about 6 kilometres away.
