It is a beautiful place but here you get ripped off like a Christmas goose. 2 nights in absolute low season nearly 100 €. Restaurant also very expensive.

The food at the restaurant was affordable, quality average - everything else deserves only top ratings! Great pitches, each just a hop from the magnificent beach. Very spacious, always clean, and luxurious facilities for a campsite. Staff are all courteous, friendly, and always helpful. The location couldn't be better for a beach holiday, the site is easily accessible and ranks among the top in Europe.

Actually a nice campsite, but the dog area could use a bit more love/care. The Spanish teenagers who were relatively often yelling in the shower were also difficult, sometimes so loud that other Spanish campers from the surrounding pitches came over to reprimand them and embarrassed themselves apologizing to a stranger. Another problem with the dog area is that the stage from Las Dunas is too close and the noise from there constantly carries over, but La Bellena can't do anything about that. The washrooms are clean, although the individual camper could reasonably take care of their sandy leftovers, especially since there are rain showers and handheld showers.

A great campsite where we all felt comfortable. We especially liked the proximity to the beach! 😍 The animation team was super nice to the kids and offered a varied program. One thing we didn’t like was the condition of the sanitary facilities in the front area. They could definitely use some modernization! Another downside was the poor WiFi connection. We were quite far "up front" and had no WiFi reception at all. Mobile data were also barely possible. Perhaps we just had bad luck and were in a dead zone. Despite the high season, the sanitary facilities were still clean.

We have been coming here for several years with our dogs, unfortunately there are more and more dogs, but the space is not being expanded. Since we always pay 7 Euros per day, there is no other option for activities with our four-legged friends except for the dog shower. The dog field should be better maintained, it is very filthy. -Washrooms are aging, mold on the ceilings of the shower (neglected dog sites). -Mini market is almost always sold out in the morning, too few rolls. -Restaurants or pizzeria above the fitness area. There was no cheese left, very poor food, it could be better. The parcels in the dog area are very unkempt, only thistles on the ground, no grass and this in May. -Reservations at the reception are only possible via a PC, the staff is not helpful, you have to do this yourself on the PC. Actually a good place, but one should care about it, especially regarding dogs.

In terms of sanitation, plot size, pool facilities, beach, sports, and entertainment, it is absolutely top-notch. At the site, you can find everything you need at relatively normal prices. All in all, a truly top resort. But now comes the big BUT: THE NIGHTLY NOISE We were in row 47. this is located between the fences and three-quarters of the site. Next to the campsite, there is a disco. It is absolutely loud and hardly bearable at night. The street outside the camp turns into a busy highway, and drunk people scream every night on their way home. Many write that the camp can do nothing about it, I see it differently. Whoever runs such a top resort and charges corresponding prices should be able to do something about it. Moreover, there is also nothing visible from preventive measures through sound insulation walls. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

The campsite is wonderfully located - including the sound of the sea - and very well organized. We really liked the spacious plots. The beach is a dream. Our daughter also loved the pool. In September, we found it nice and quiet. The facilities are also good with CamperClean and dishwashers. It's great that there is a special dog area. Points of concern from our perspective: Many kiters are very reckless and ride in the swimming area. There were nearly collisions, really very dangerous, especially for children. We might have wished for some supervision here. Unfortunately, not all dog owners adhere to the dog ban, so they were taken to the pool, restaurant, and the entire beach. Here, too, we think the campsite should intervene regulate. We found various plastic waste from previous visitors at our spot. At a 5-star campsite with corresponding pricing, we did not expect that. Otherwise, the site is clean, including the restrooms. However, these are poorly maintained. It wasn't until the 5th shower that I found one that worked. In all others, only cold water came out or the door didn't close. That's a shame and given the pricing level and 5 stars, it's a no-go. After rain, we had a mosquito plague, but that's not the campsite's fault. Despite the negative points, we liked the rest so much that we will come back next year.

At the child-friendly holiday resort Camping La Ballena Alegre Costa Brava, camping is taken to a whole new level: This is because the extensive site is not just a feel-good place for individual holidaymakers, but also offers services that are on a par with a resort. The spa area, the many catering options and the comprehensive range of leisure activities are just some of the amenities.
Camping La Ballena Alegre Costa Brava offers an idyllic ambience and lush Mediterranean vegetation in a peaceful, natural setting right on the beautiful beach on the Costa Brava. The fixed accommodation units on site are modern and stylish. Eleven different bungalow categories are available at the attractive holiday resort, including the 38 square metre Mediterráneo Bungalows and the 56 square metre Garbi Bungalows. These have a particularly contemporary design and are bordered on all sides by a communal pool. Several bungalow areas have a communal pool with a surrounding sun terrace. The surroundings of the pitches also exude a feel-good atmosphere and are individualised. There is one area surrounded by tropical palm trees, another with beautifully shaped hedges and an area for motorhomes and caravans with a direct sea view. In total, there are around 780 pitches ranging in size from 90 square metres to 120 square metres. The "Plus Dog Area" welcomes all four-legged campers. In the dog area, guests even have their own sanitary facilities for washing their four-legged friends. Modern and spacious sanitary facilities are generously distributed throughout Camping La Ballena Alegre Costa Brava. There are also numerous catering options on the holiday complex: three restaurants, five snack stands and six bars leave nothing to be desired. The many shops offer everything for self-catering with fragrant baked goods, fresh fish, fruit and vegetables, clothing and all kinds of holiday essentials.
Active, atmospheric hours, relaxed and quiet moments as well as a sociable get-together: all this characterises the ambience at Camping La Ballena Alegre Costa Brava in north-eastern Spain. Three pools invite you to swim, water gymnastics is organised regularly and water sports activities are also offered on the beach. Those who want to be pampered from head to toe will get their money's worth in the campsite's spa area. Adults can relax with massages, while the children have a great time with the many colourful activities led by the entertainment team, designing T-shirts or painting works of art. For a sporty excursion by bike, we recommend the town of Sant Pere Pescador, just 8 kilometres northwest of Camping La Ballena Alegre Costa Brava.
