Family-friendly site with a number of swimming options

Camping l'Hirondelle has three heated outdoor swimming pools, which guarantee a welcome cool-down in the warm summer months. Aerobics and aquafitness classes are also regularly offered here, allowing holidaymakers to keep fit. There is also a paddling pool for children at the resort. This is surrounded by deckchairs so that parents can relax while their children play in the shallow water. In the warm summer months, we recommend taking a walk to the nearby River Bès. Some stretches of sandy shore offer perfect conditions for bathing and splashing around for campers of all ages.

The site is located in the French department of Auvergne-Rhônes-Alpes in the south-east of the country. The high mountains of the Alps can be seen from the campsite and offer a spectacular view. The immediate surroundings are characterised by dense tree cover and the nearest village of Menglon is around 3.5 km away. Thanks to the campsite's own grocery shop, holidaymakers don't have to leave Camping l'Hirondelle to do their shopping. The site also has a kiosk, a snack bar and a restaurant and offers a bread roll service for breakfast. The pitches at Camping l'Hirondelle all have their own spacious plots. Alternatively, the campsite rents out well-equipped mobile homes, tents, bungalows and cabins. Dogs are also welcome and holidaymakers can look forward to a varied sports and leisure programme. The programme includes pony riding, archery, mini golf and sports courses. There is also a fitness room at Camping l'Hirondelle. Bicycles and e-bikes can be hired at the campsite, which can be used to go on scenic day trips along the Bés. Naturally, travellers have access to fast Wi-Fi and the sanitary facilities are not only modern and well-maintained, but also accessible for guests with limited mobility. For excursions in the region, we recommend hiking through the mountains in the Vercors National Park or various water sports in the Drome Valley. Campers can experience exciting trips along impressive waterfalls by canoe or kayak.
