Plenty of space in the off-season. Friendly owner, the boss is becoming nicer with age :-) Very flat, suitable for children, access to Lake Ossiach

Parking Spaces: Spacious, plenty of space, partially shaded, Sanitary Facilities: in order, quite new and looked clean Restaurant: There is a big sign on the street: Pizzeria-Restaurant with a picture of the wood-fired oven Because we wanted to go eat real pizza, we went there (we were staying at another campsite). After we got our drinks and wanted to order, my son asked to leave out an ingredient. The waiter said that wasn’t possible because the ingredients were already on the pizza. When I asked if these were frozen pizzas, he affirmed. Since we were on foot and already had the drinks, we stayed. The pizzas didn’t taste good even for frozen pizzas. We can understand if not every campsite can offer its own kitchen with various dishes. In that case, it is also fine for frozen pizzas to be offered for people who don't want to go out anymore and are just hungry. However, one shouldn’t place such a misleading sign by the road. That is deceit.

We just managed to get a spot upon arrival at noon for one night. The resolute owner made a great effort to accommodate us well despite being fully booked. Since we know other places nearby, we found it simply too expensive: a small section of the beach where it is overcrowded. Sanitary facilities are old but clean. With a few exceptions, the spots are rather small, making it difficult to enter with a trailer. There supposedly isn't a reservation system, but some spots had a sign... I would not recommend it for a longer stay.

We spent one night at the campsite (CP). Actually, we would have liked to stay longer. Due to the fact that we own 2 dogs, the CP was not ideal for us since we were not allowed to take them to the water. This is quite unsatisfactory since you pay 5.80 euros for a four-legged friend just for them to be chained up at their spot...... After a long conversation with the owner, it seems the problem lies with the municipality. At the entire Ossiacher Lake, there are only 2 CPs that allow dogs by the water. So I can only advise dog owners to inquire in advance, otherwise, you'll be left with a long face..... For the children, the site is really nice. There are 2 large playgrounds and a slide from which you can slide from the pier into the lake. The sanitary facilities are old but very clean. I can recommend the site for campers without dogs. However, for our situation, it is not suitable.
