The sanitary facilities are very outdated. In the showers, you can only turn on the water and cannot regulate the temperature. The shower heads urgently need to be cleaned. There are about 5 water jets, of which 4 go sideways and you only have one for showering. The cleaning staff was absolutely unfriendly! And they closed the entire washing house for cleaning. We also missed a washing house with a children's area, as the site is already very child-friendly. The paths to the plots are a bit narrow, so you have problems with large-width trailers. The pitches resemble a minefield! Holes everywhere and totally uneven! The supermarket is large and has a great selection. Unfortunately, children are no longer allowed in the thermal bath. It used to be different, and we would wish for another change. Conclusion: We would love to come back, but only if the sanitary facilities have been renewed!

Nice place for a weekend. Uncomplicated facility with a lake. Playgrounds are nice, and there is a small indoor pool included. There is also an indoor area for children and several opportunities to engage in sports. Arcen itself is a small, nice, interesting town.

We stayed there for a weekend with our caravan. We arrived very late and first had to search for our plot. At 11:15 PM, we gave up to avoid disturbing other people. We then parked on a plot and found our actual place the next morning. It was simply very poorly marked. Water was actually at the parking space, but of course, it was turned off now. So: don't forget the watering can. :) The showers and toilets were not particularly clean. It already smelled unpleasant when entering the building. Little pressure in the pipe, so rinsing out hair takes a bit longer. The surroundings directly at the campsite are not very nice. However, you can quickly go for a walk in the Maasdunes or shop in Venlo. Next time, I would look for another place.

Good location for cycling tours, Saturdays work. To Venlo for the weekly market and shopping.

As you would expect from Roompot Parks, there is also a great children's animation, swimming pool, mini-golf course, sports fields, restaurant, snack bar, and a supermarket. The lake located at the center with a sandy beach and swimming possibility is also convincing. The washhouses are clean and in good condition.

beautiful location, but only outdated wash houses, small parking spaces, and no good access roads. Furthermore, there was an extreme caterpillar infestation that none of the responsible parties addressed. Some vacationers even had to cut their holiday short for health reasons.
