Close to the banks of the river Saône, Kanopée Village in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region invites you to enjoy a holiday close to nature in the east of France. The quiet campsite in a wooded location in the medieval town of Trévoux has a meadow area with pitches for motorhomes and caravans, which are scattered with hedges and trees. The campsite's own mobile homes and chalets are available all year round. The river right on the doorstep is an ideal spot for fishing, kayaking and boating. The gentle current also makes swimming a pleasure. Guests also have free access to the neighbouring Les Cascades water park. Pond fishing in the waters of the Dombes is also very popular. One of the most attractive excursion destinations is the city of Lyon, around 35 kilometres away.

The cottage is very clean and well-maintained. The rooms are not large, and you have to be a bit creative with your luggage. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is sufficient for 4 to 6 people. The camping location is excellent, set in a lovely area by the water, great for cycling and walking. Highly recommended. Pitch/Rental Accommodation: Large terrace. 2 bathrooms
Perhaps a pool would be a nice addition? Pitch/Rental Accommodation: Limited storage for luggage.

We booked the site for our onward journey home. There was free choice of pitch. The site was clean, and although the washrooms are not the newest, they were clean and functional. We walked to the city for dinner, which took about 10-15 minutes with children. Unfortunately, the water park next door is no longer there, but there is a playground directly in front of the campsite for the kids. Pitch/Rental Accommodation: We were on-site with our motorhome, consisting of 2 adults and 2 children.

Nice welcome and a beautifully looking campsite with the cabins and the lake. The bread service was great. The pitch for the tent was good,
Toilet building 1 was closed, so it was a bit further to walk. However, the pitch for the tent was right next to a street that was quite noisy during the night.

The campsite is neat and clean, but there isn't much to do. It's really a campsite for transit. When we left, the campsite was not even half full. We were there with pop-up tents and were allowed to choose our own spot. Pitch/Accommodation: The spot was fine, and there is a lovely area for walking. There's also a nice little town nearby.
It depends; if it's a transit campsite, then it's fine. Pitch/Accommodation: The biggest downside was the lack of a swimming pool. We did swim in the river next door, but that's not encouraged.

A campsite that is actually quite beautiful.......with potential. I find the bakery service good. Very friendly staff. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The pitches are sufficiently large and well laid out, we had a very good spot for our 7-meter-long motorhome.
The sanitary facilities should be updated to be more modern. There are too few options for accessing drinking water. Pitch/Rental accommodation: We used the campsite as a stopover for an overnight stay. If there were a pool, modern sanitary facilities, and a restaurant, we would love to stay longer.
