Beautiful surroundings, functional infrastructure with very friendly support from Barbara and Stefan.
Superb10

As a long-time camper, for more than 50 years, I find this place very pleasant, nestled in a beautiful environment. The sanitary facilities are practical, clean, and well-maintained. A small grocery store with well-selected products rounds off the good infrastructure. For the 3rd time, we are winter camping here and enjoy snowshoeing on well-prepared and marked trails. Skiing and the beautiful little restaurant "Fängli" between two slopes are also recommended. Less pleasant, even sad, is the termination of the camping warden couple Barbara and Stefan. It's a shame that the operator of the campsite could not come to an agreement with Barbara and Stefan. The two have done their job excellently.

Very special, small campsite

Camping at 1500 m altitude surrounded by cow pastures. Very special atmosphere in the midst of pastures. Cars at Jaunpass (right next to the site) are very manageable and not disturbing. Super experience, great starting point for hiking and mountain biking. Very nice staff, small shop with bread roll and bread service. No (open restaurants), sanitary facilities simple but very, very clean (good!). LTE network excellent. Absolute recommendation - we are staying for two nights and enjoying the mountain world.

Wonderful Alpine Camping at about 1500 m above sea level with very friendly service
Superb10

Very friendly service by Stephan, even during the short notice phone reservation: This is how our short holiday experience began. The campsite at about 1500 m above sea level has everything necessary such as heated washrooms with showers and sufficient hot water, washing machine and dryer (tumbler), disposal station for grey water and chemical toilet, power connections with 10A fuses, a small shop with freshly available bread as well as a (currently under construction) barbecue area and associated little house including free firewood. Everything was very clean and practically furnished. We really liked it and will definitely return: The price-performance ratio was extraordinarily suitable for us... simply top. Many thanks for this great camping experience to the very friendly and accommodating host. P.S.: For all the small and large hungry mouths, about 25 minutes from the campsite, heading towards Jaun/Charmey, located about 5 km from the main road, on the Ritzli Alp you can find the tastiest pizza for miles around (only on Wednesday evenings) as well as other delicious delicacies. Reservation required (during our visit the restaurant was full). Access not suitable for large vehicles including long campers).
