Two sanitary buildings for the main square and only one of them with showers. Incredibly cramped toilet stalls. Very large deficits in the cleaning of the sanitary facilities... For that, 2 euros for a hot shower and 50 cents for two minutes of hot water to wash dishes. The place was a terrible imposition for us, and we left after two days, even though we had booked and paid for five!

Caution! Many things are defective and/or dirty, the operator denies this and behaves unfriendly. We had a motorhome pitch on Jamboree II, which is directly adjacent to Jamboree I. The washroom has aged and of the 4 showers in the women’s bathroom, 3 were locked, the last one was defective (the showerhead was lying beside it). Additionally, only one of 6 faucets was functional. On the first pitch, one could shower, however, despite having a warm water token (2€) the water was cold, both for the women and the men. This deficiency was noticed by other vacationers as well. When we departed and noted to the operator that there was no hot water for the 2€ per token, he made excuses and served the next guest without looking at us again. A disgrace. Strangely, it was said that the showers were okay, yet in the morning a plumber's vehicle was parked in front of the showers?! During the telephone reservation, it was said that arrival should be between 11 AM and 4 PM, however, it was not mentioned that the reception takes a lunch break from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. The site is equipped with electricity and drinking water and offers space for a motorhome including an awning. There are many mobile homes on site where permanent campers live who do crafts until the evening and conversate loudly. Despite quiet hours starting at 10 PM, cars and motorcycles drive onto the site until 11:30 PM. A supermarket is within walking distance. The playground is okay but not maintained, and in many places, there is a risk of injury due to broken play equipment. We would definitely not book here again, it was far too dirty and the hosts cannot be called such due to their unprofessional behavior.

It's more of a trailer park than a campsite with many permanent campers. They like to tinker with their vehicles in the evenings, sawing and drilling. Or they like to tell each other stories very loudly... The sanitary facilities are almost a disgrace; two out of three shower stalls are apparently broken because they are locked, and the last open one is missing the shower head - it's lying broken next to it. (Jamboree II) You need tokens to take a shower for €2. There are only a few camper spots. They are relatively small but have electricity and water connections. Blankenberge is not the prettiest coastal town in Belgium. It has aged a lot, has a lot of vacancies, and is not really clean.

We were there for 3 months for 750€ and can't complain, we have 2 dogs that were also included in the price. The shower tokens cost 2€. I personally don’t think the showers are that great, but not far from the campsite there is a swimming pool that only costs 2.50€ per person and the other garbage bags cost 0.50€, electricity is not very cheap at 0.50€ per kWh, everything is reachable on foot and the manager and the owner are also very friendly and speak German as well.

The campsite is really okay in itself. The sanitary facilities were mostly clean. On Sunday evenings it was pretty disgusting, but on all other days, you really couldn't complain. To take a shower, you have to buy tokens for €1.50. Then you get 10 minutes of hot water. That was always enough for me. Additionally, you get garbage bags at the beginning. When they are full, you have to buy new ones. But we managed with the ones we had for that one week. The bistro on the site is very, very, VERY expensive (for example, lasagna for €20). But Blankenberge itself is really quite an expensive place. We only went to the bingo night at the site's own bistro once, and it was really fun. The pitches are quite small and lined up next to each other. We found it okay because we were only there to sleep anyway. However, there is no shade there.
