Unfortunately, we arrived on a weekend in the Biarritz region. All campsites were full. Itsas Mendi was our last hope. Crowds of Spanish weekend vacationers also flooded this site. The ladies at the reception showed great nerve and were very friendly and helpful. We managed to find one of the few available pitches on this very large site. It was sufficiently large and flat. The sanitary facilities were relatively clean, despite the high influx, and were available in adequate numbers. The beach can be reached on foot. The path, about 600 meters long, leads through the campsite area. The water and waste disposal for the camper van was done properly. The pool is more of a fun bath than a swimming pool. Overall, the site is recommended.

In July about 35€ per night for a small tent and two adults. Electricity was included. WiFi was included but did not work well (after each disconnection, a complicated password had to be entered on a website and there were frequent disconnections with very slow connections). The swimming pool was completely overcrowded. Many children and teenagers on the site, resulting in corresponding noise levels.
