Ardoer Camping It Wiid, located in the heart of the Alde Feanen National Park, offers an extensive camping experience. With its direct access to water sports activities, including boat hire and a water sports school, it is ideal for lovers of sailing and other water activities. The reception is always super nice and friendly, the place is large and idyllically located, and the plots are very spacious; however, one must stand according to specific guidelines. Very nicely situated, especially for water enthusiasts.. Biking is recommended.. But: I wasn't allowed to choose my spot, even though there were many empty ones, and I would have gladly paid more; you always have to pay in full, unlike what I'm used to from others, so plan carefully. 4.5-star luxury campsite with an opulent leisure programme
Ardoer Camping It Wiid is located in the heart of the "De Alde Feanen" National Park and covers an extensive area. Small canals and waterways repeatedly criss-cross the plots, and two marinas are also integrated. Of course, guests do not need to bring their own boat, they can simply hire one on site. Sailing courses for children are regularly organised during the high season. Water also plays an essential role in the large pool area. Here, guests can enjoy three heated pools, including a large, shallow paddling area for the youngest children with lots of play equipment. A football pitch and a volleyball court are located directly opposite the pool area. Tennis courts, playgrounds and bike hire are further amenities at Ardoer Camping It Wiid.
Sufficient parcelled pitches of various sizes are spread across the site, divided into four different categories. Electricity connections are available on every pitch and water connections are also available to camping holidaymakers on most pitches. The well-stocked supermarket has everything you need for self-catering and everyday camping. It is also possible to have your shopping delivered directly to your pitch. Delicacies and refreshing drinks are also served in the campsite's own restaurant "De Meerpaal".
