We spent a few days at this campsite, but nothing matched the description on the website or the reviews. It's a big mess. Everything is closed, the toilet is old and very dirty and smelly, with no toilet paper. The shower also stinks and is disgusting. Often there's no hot water or even just a trickle of water. The swimming pool was said to have only been open for 2 months. There is iron and wood everywhere, pallets full of materials, and above all a lot of garbage. The entire campsite seems to be made up of used materials. And it's the most expensive campsite in the entire region. Where these reviews about everything new, beautiful, and perfect camping come from is a mystery to us and can only be unfair. After the round trip, we ended up at another campsite, 25 percent cheaper and everything in pristine condition. We will never.

First of all, regarding the ADAC inspection from 2021, it states that the sanitary facilities are new in 2021. This is not true; the sanitary facilities are old and in need of renovation. I don’t know which sanitary facilities the ADAC inspected. There are many long-term campers on the site. There are only a few places available for short stays. Gumboots are advisable in case of rain. The site is managed by a site manager who conveys the instructions of his boss via telephone. The site is too expensive for what it offers. €28 for 2 people including electricity and that in May. To shop, you have to go about 3 km to the next village since the mini-market is closed and the baker is not on the campsite until around 10:30 AM. You have to cross the main road to get to the beach. The pool is not in operation. I cannot recommend the site.

We have had a seasonal spot in Iria since 2000. Previously, our 5 children used to come along, but today I pick them up alternately from the airport. All nations are represented at the site (Netherlands, Italy, France, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany). We love this multicultural life. Our neighbors are Greeks, Dutch, and Italians. Everyone looks after each other's belongings in case someone is not on-site (e.g., during a sudden rain shower). We are already looking forward to this year. Hello Diana and Vasilis
