Il Tridente Camping Village

Upon receiving Il Tridente, we were quoted a favorable total price and it was reconfirmed by two female employees at the hotel reception in front of witnesses, and after booking, our IDs were withheld. When we were offered a spot on the street, it was already clear from the first night that due to the ongoing delivery traffic, the campsite was not only extremely loud but also there was a swamp area above the street, where in the evenings swarms of mosquitoes invaded like a plague. When we wanted to leave, Il Tridente demanded significantly more money for information that had not been known beforehand and had not been agreed upon in front of witnesses. As Il Tridente refused to return the IDs before paying the inflated bill, it was evident to us that there was clear fraud. After these extremely bad experiences, we will never return to Il Tridente Camping!

Pros

After previous stays at the hotel, this time in a chalet! The renovated mobile chalets are amazing. Over 20 years at Il Tridente.. what else!! Pitch/Rental accommodation: The new renovated mobile chalets are fantastic! Great bathroom, wonderful kitchen, and lovely bedroom.

Cons

Pitch/Rental accommodation: In our chalet, there were no curtains on the front door - that should be standard.. and the door could not be locked from the inside.

The service was very good and it was easy to get in contact with the staff. We had some problems with the electricity and the staff came and fixed it in few minutes both times :) Pitch/rental accommodation: It was beautiful with flowers and lots of shadow and very nice staff

The sanitary facilities are in extremely poor need of renovation. Furthermore, more staff should be employed for cleaning the outdated sanitary facilities. In some places, the toilet is completely dirty for half the day. There really should be more investment in cleaning. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Renovate sanitary facilities

Beautiful shaded pitch. Short walk to the beach. Playground and pool are nice for children. Good assortment in the market. Friendly staff. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Lots of shade, large pitch, short paths

Cons

Check-in and check-out take far too long. You’re supposed to check in from 1:00 PM, but by 1:30 PM, access is closed ... doesn’t make much sense. During check-out, you’re sent from one person to the next, and only one can process payments, which leads to an endless queue. The washrooms could use a renovation. The showers sound like an alarm tone. The evening entertainment program goes on for a long time and is very loud. With small children, it's difficult to go to bed. The broken playground equipment should be removed or repaired.

👍 Very good for families. The white sandy beach and the sea are a true delight. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The condition itself was very good. It was nice that a dishwasher was available.
