Most Beautiful Place at Ijsselmeer
Friendly, clean, and conveniently located right behind the dyke. A small, friendly, well-stocked shop. Toilets and showers always clean.

Great campsite, very quiet, nice playground, good sanitary facilities
We were in Hindeloopen from mid-July to the end of July 2023. The place is quite small. Nice harbor where you can eat ice cream, fish, etc. Shopping can be done at the mini market in the square or in Workum or Balk. You usually have to drive here as it's quite remote. The playgrounds are tidy and … More

A Nice Time
Very quiet and pleasant, you are welcomed by the surfer camp vacationers, there are no big crowds, you are close to the beach, and the mooring looks very well-kept. A special feature is that the toilets are clean and are cleaned several times a day, as are the showers. P.S.: A major downside is th… More

Holland Feeling
A beautiful place to explore the Netherlands. Right by the IJsselmeer, suitable for families with small children, as the water is very shallow and freshwater, and the inflatable pillows are also great for windsurfers. For larger groups, stand-up paddling through the canals is very cool. Hindeloopen … More

Meadows, fields and water: these three landscape elements characterise the immediate surroundings of Camping Hindeloopen. Situated on the IJsselmeer lake, the campsite attracts water sports enthusiasts as well as families who appreciate the boat hire and the extensive range of sports and leisure activities.
The campsite, which is open seasonally, is located behind the sea dyke of the IJsselmeer and is surrounded on three sides by small canals. Fishing enthusiasts should not forget their fishing equipment, as fishing is possible at various points along the canals. If you like, you can hire a boat from the campsite's own hire shop and explore the largest lake in the Netherlands. There is also a water sports school on the shore, which is happy to teach newcomers to surfing and kitesurfing and hire out equipment for stand-up paddling. There are also two tennis courts and a multi-purpose court, while children can enjoy the covered sand playground and the uncovered play areas. The small farm zoo is home to kids and chickens that want to be stroked. The flat surroundings of the campsite can be wonderfully explored by bike from the campsite's own hire shop. The small town of Hindeloopen is within walking distance and exudes Frisian charm with its captain's houses, small wooden bridges and narrow alleyways. Electricity connections are available on each of the parcelled-out pitches. The service includes emptying cassette toilets as well as supply and disposal for motorhomes. In addition to washing machines, a tumble dryer is also available. In the well-maintained sanitary buildings, special attention is paid to the needs of children and wheelchair users. Guests can use WLAN free of charge throughout the site. Catering is provided by a grocery shop, a restaurant and a snack bar.
