Great camping site with everything you need

I cannot understand the negative reviews here! The spots for campers are large and clean - the sanitary facilities are a dream and extremely clean (we are coming back after 4 weeks of vacation in Italy and know what we are talking about) Washing machine, drying room, ironing, everything is there, what more could you want?

Disproportionately expensive compared to the offer and without a detailed price listing

Pleasant6

August 2023

Beautifully located place, appealing sanitary facilities, attractive pool landscape. The restaurant is closed, at best there are pizzas. Shopping availability on site is inadequate. Many of the advertised features are therefore not usable. There is no listing of the camping fees. The bill for the stay is not detailed, but only includes the final amount. A solo camper is charged the same as if they had been two people. A fee listing is also missing at the reception. For solo campers, the site is therefore one of the most expensive overall.

Great place, unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right (anymore).

June 2023

Beautiful place, the trees provide shade. Unfortunately, the areas near the playground suffer from street noise. There are only remnants of the petting zoo left, the restaurant in the square no longer exists, and the shop is unfortunately closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and only open briefly in the mornings and afternoons. It's more of a better kiosk; you can't really do proper shopping there. The swimming pool and the small wellness area are great. Sanitary facilities and equipment leave nothing to be desired. The family bathing areas must be rented separately, and electricity is only included at 5kW/day. Therefore, the price-performance ratio is rather not right. It’s a few kilometers to the lake, but it’s also very beautiful there.

Unfortunately not recommendable for us anymore

March 2023

We had been here before the change of management, it was absolutely warm and welcoming, and we came back. The place hasn’t changed much, but you don't feel welcome. No activities, no children's program, no Easter offers. (The children at the site would have surely appreciated an organized Easter egg hunt) Additionally, the place is now far too expensive, actually no longer affordable. For us, the price-performance ratio doesn’t add up here. For the price, too little is offered. In summary: +Staff nice +Adult sanitary facilities always clean +Nice, if somewhat outdated playground +Sauna area Negative: -No joint activities -Children’s toilets were not cleaned for at least 2 days and no soap (adjacent play area - very good when children play here without washing their hands with soap after using the toilet) -Indoor pool way too cold and therefore empty -Indoor play area partially broken and not cleaned, some offerings for a fee

Beautiful campsite with everything you need for winter camping

Superb10

December 2022

We celebrated our New Year here at the site. We were warmly welcomed. Our prior reservation was handled competently. The previous telephone inquiries were always friendly and helpful. The site offers everything you need for winter camping. The wellness area is top-notch, ski depot, showers, etc. all included. We were here for skiing. The bus stops directly at the site. Per day you get 5 kWh free. Anything beyond that is charged at 90 cents/kWh. In short, the site leaves no wishes unfulfilled. We will come back.

It's a shame that the new operator is benefiting from the laurels of the Schluga family.

July 2022

A change of operator can create drawbacks in both directions. Therefore, I find it unfair not to consider this in the overall assessment here at Pincamp. In this case, it would present a much worse picture. I can also only say that some things have unfortunately gotten worse. This definitely includes the overwhelmed staff. For example, the places were no longer mowed after departure and grew unrestrained in parts. Unfortunately, the new operators seem to place little value on good coexistence. This includes, among other things, a good camping shop or joint activities. On the positive side, there is participation in the Nassfeld +Card and the associated benefits. I can only hope that the criticism expressed by many long-term campers will bear fruit next year.

June 2022

We can also say as a couple that we enjoyed going to 'Schluga' for 30 years, but we will not be coming back for the 31st year! There is no friendliness at the reception, everything is very brief and curt! You get the feeling that you are unwelcome and that you should not ask any questions. The bakery shop is only open for 3 hours in the morning during the main season. There is hardly any selection available. There is no supervision on the site, so it is often very loud in the evenings. Especially due to the Dutch youth, who have now taken over. The nice activity program for young and old is no longer available. What a pity! In the youth room, additional costs are incurred for various offers. Although according to the homepage electricity is included, everyone gets an extra electricity meter and then still has to pay extra! It doesn't matter whether there is an air conditioner or not! Here profit counts and not the camper! July 2022
