Camping Harrobia

The campsite is located in Bidart in the picturesque French Basque Country. You will be camping in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, very close to the wild Basque Coast and the Bay of Biscay. The location offers a great combination of the rugged Atlantic coast and the nearby peaks of the Pyrenees.

The charming town centre of Bidart is the nearest town centre and is located very close to the campsite. You can reach this typical Basque village very quickly to stroll through the streets, buy local delicacies, or relax in the cosy cafés.

As the site is located on the Basque Atlantic coast, the pitches usually have a grassy or sandy ground. It is best to pack sturdy pegs that hold well in sandier ground. Due to the fresh breeze from the Bay of Biscay, a solid storm tie-down for your awning is also recommended.

As the campsite is currently not bookable directly through PiNCAMP, we do not have any up-to-date prices. Typically, the costs on site consist of the following factors:

• Local tourist tax of the municipality of Bidart

Travelling by car with a caravan to the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department is straightforward via the major motorways. As you approach Bidart, you should drive particularly carefully on the narrower Basque coastal roads. It is best to plan your arrival outside the campsite's typical quiet hours.

The Côte Basque is a dream for active campers. You can surf on the beaches of the Bay of Biscay, hike along the spectacular cliffs, or go on excursions into the nearby Pyrenees. The neighbouring Basque towns of Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz are also within easy reach.
