Outstanding site with plenty of greenery and tranquility. Very friendly and always available owner, no excessive camping rules - they also rely on the campers' common sense! We were guests here for a week and could choose our shared site for 4 caravans - absolutely fantastic! Very generously sized, modernized, and always clean sanitary facilities. The Edeka supermarket is about 800 m away, perfect for a cycling trip to fetch rolls. We will definitely return next year!!!

A Wonderful Weekend!
Superb10
Patrick Zimmer
We spent the Corpus Christi weekend 2023 here. First plus point: Arrival possible from 09:00 in the morning! Second plus point: The operators show you the place and you can choose the most beautiful pitch for yourself. Third plus point: complete peace. Where parties and noise prevail during such long weekends, you find restful tranquility and very nice operators here. We felt welcome from the very first moment, after setting up we had a cool drink and the "coming down" set in immediately. The Edeka store in the village has everything you need, the really good barbecue meat in various and delicious varieties is especially recommended. A wonderful starting point for great walks or hikes, our dog really enjoyed it. In short, anyone who wants to spend a few nice days (or longer), loves nature, and doesn't care about being super fancy (the sanitary facilities are absolutely clean and in order!), will find their place here. We would love to come back!

Highly Recommended!

On my journey from the far north to the deep south, I made a restful stop for one night at this highly recommended campsite. What I particularly liked: 1. Not far from the A5 (about 16 min.) 2. The extremely friendly and competent welcome from Ms. Ritter 3. Due to the size, many free pitches despite the high season 4. Very clean, newly renovated sanitary facilities 5. Thanks to the open barrier, I could continue my journey as early as 6 a.m.! The Ritter family has only recently taken over the campsite. The "unfriendly and rude campsite manager" mentioned in older reviews definitely belongs to the past!! I will definitely come back!!!

Child-friendly. You are also warmly welcomed as a stranger. The food is fantastic, especially the schnitzel days.

It's nice to find there, children can go outside to play. Good visibility from the restaurant. Neighbors are also lovely.

Nothing for several days, but very conveniently located near the A5 Frankfurt-Kassel for 1 overnight stay during long trips. Very quiet, sanitary facilities very clean. In the restaurant, although there is only a small selection, the super schnitzel is prepared by the owner herself. Campsite and food are very inexpensive.
