Densely wooded lakes surround Camping Gröne Backe, which is located on the outskirts of Ed, a municipality close to the Norwegian border in southern Sweden's historic province of Dalsland. The parcelled out pitches are located partly on a natural forest ridge and partly on meadowland near a road. Couples and groups of friends who enjoy a peaceful holiday in the countryside will feel at home here. The highlight of the campsite is the sauna floating in the lake, which can only be reached by rowing boat.

We were rather disappointed with the site. There was hardly any lake view and the swimming area is very small. The ladies at the reception were rather unfriendly. Good Location
Terrace-shaped area above the lake. The beach is not so beautiful. Sanitary facilities are absolutely fine.

Pure relaxation
We have been here multiple times now. Always beautiful... the lake invites you to swim, hiking is no problem, the restaurant on the premises is also very good and everyone is friendly. Beautifully situated in the landscape. A moose park is directly across the street. Sanitary facilities and cooking options urgently need to be renovated.

Beautifully situated on the steep bank above the lake with a view of the floating sauna. Very nice washhouses and facilities, affordable on-site restaurant, very friendly reception. The only slightly disturbing factor: the street noise along the site.
