The site is clean, tidy and quiet. The pitches are large enough. There are chilled drinks available at the site. The sanitary facilities are also good and clean. The manager of the site is friendly and speaks German. Brussels is accessible by bus, travel time is about one hour.

So for us, the place was fine, the man at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The shower rooms were also very clean and there was enough hot water. It is also not unusual that you have to bring the toilet paper from outside (2 toilet paper holders in front of the toilets inside). And that some pitches are not completely level is also normal. There was also a timetable for the bus to Brussels.

Unfriendly, rejecting groundskeeper

Unfriendly, dismissive groundskeeper. The grounds were only partially usable and we were sent away without assistance. There was no mention of the camper parking spot in the village. What a shame!

Small place near Brussels. We were just passing through. Very clean sanitary facilities. Otherwise, not much to offer. Close to town with a very good pizzeria. One night with a van, 2 adults, 1 child, 1 dog, and electricity €30. Sufficient for our needs, therefore 4 stars. Would come again!

Stopped here for one night while passing through. Clean sanitary facilities and friendly staff. The parking spot was a bit slanted but nicely bordered. Would love to come again.

Recommended for visiting Brussels "We were on the campsite from Friday to Tuesday for a Brussels tour. The welcome was friendly at first, but after the senior manager ("my son manages the campsite but is on vacation") copied my ID data, there was no understanding that I, as a foreigner, would like my ID back for a possible police check. I was pointedly informed that ADAC would issue camping cards. When I suggested that he could make a copy of my ID, I was informed that he was not obligated to have a copier. Allegedly, the police would need to have my ID for a check on the grounds; simply copied data would not suffice. ??? (I think he wanted a deposit to ensure payment before departure.) Since we Germans wanted to stay for several days and had also reserved by phone, we were assigned a pitch at the far end of the campsite, although there were nice pitches closer to the sanitation building that were free. This pitch also had the greatest possible distance to the nearest water tap, of which there are only three; two are next to each other by the sanitation building and the other is at the tent area. O.K. I fetched water by bicycle. Some additional water points would raise the standard. The sanitation building was cleaned daily, and except for minor details, there was nothing to complain about, other than the fact that women showered in the men's area for several days because only cold water was available in theirs. Unlike the men's area, the women even had a paper towel holder, which was always empty, just like the soap dispensers that were also empty in the men's area. On Tuesday, minimal watery soap foam came out of the dispenser. I find it outdated for a three-star site that there is only one toilet paper dispenser in the toilet lobby, from which one has to take paper beforehand. (Those who don't see it in time after arrival and are in a hurry might experience their brown surprise ;-) .) It was good that a squeegee for the showers was present, but it was hung up with an electrical cable that had stripped ends, which is actually suboptimal. If you are not careful, you could get hurt. Between about 06:00 and 22:00, planes taking off from Brussels Airport fly over the campsite. Electricity costs 4 euros. Recommendable restaurant nearby: de Tommenmolen See also www.camping.info
