Camping Gran Sol is located at an altitude of 600 metres in the heart of the Pyrenees. The picturesque site is surrounded by high mountains along the Spanish-French border and promises a peaceful stay with many excursion destinations. The campsite boasts an outdoor pool and adjoining paddling pool as well as a children's playground and recreation room. Travellers will find a kiosk and a restaurant on site. In addition, the bread roll service brings the first meal of the day directly to your door. The surrounding countryside is perfect for cycling tours, climbing or long hikes. Just over the border, the small municipality of Montferrer with its medieval buildings is a cultural highlight.

Campsite for Transit
Extensive campsite on N260, near Andorra and La Seu d'Urgell (nice town with a beautiful monastery) Sanitary facilities okay, relatively open, we were only there for 1 night Service uncomplicated and friendly

Not that bad for a stopover
The first impression is misleading. The site is spacious, and we found quiet and large flat spots far away from the N-260. Obviously, many Spanish weekend campers. The sanitary facilities are okay. Appealing site layout, quiet despite the nearby road, one can hear the roosters crowing from the higher location. Sanitary facilities are inadequate. From the entrance, washbasins for men and women are openly visible. Poor cleaning. Too expensive. Only suitable for visiting La Seu d'Urgell.
