Campsite Intro
About
Camping Gianna Golfo dei Poeti is beautifully situated on the Ligurian Sea near Tellaro. Surrounded by olive trees, shrubs and hedges, the site offers a marvellous view of the Mediterranean coast. The beach is just 300 metres away. Guests can also use the large outdoor pool on site to cool off with a swim in the warm summer months. The resort offers a wide range of amenities, including a children's playground, a kiosk and a restaurant. A highlight is the bike hire service, which allows holidaymakers to go on exciting excursions in the region. We recommend tours to the village of Tellaro or day trips along the coast, where travellers can explore the legendary Cinque Terre, the pearls of the surrounding area.

Extraordinary view but also extraordinarily rigid

Terraced, very well-maintained campsite, many long-term campers. The higher you go, the better the view, but limited to small campers due to a narrow winding access road and very small lots! The campsite is quiet, despite the cramped conditions, is monitored around the clock, and rules are taken very seriously! The staff at the bar/restaurant is exceptionally friendly, but the reception maintains a strict regime, far from (Italian) relaxation or even hospitality, very unfortunate! It diminishes the joy! The sanitary facilities are impeccable, but only 2 shower and toilet cubicles at the top that are questionable in cleanliness! Not suitable for families with children! Some muscles and a willingness to climb are helpful, as it goes steeply from terrace to terrace upward. The view makes up for it!

Great, Pleasant Stay

We were at this site in mid-September with our camper. The pitch was a small, but completely sufficient plot with direct electricity connection, surrounded by olive trees and citrus plants. Sanitary facilities, washing machine, and sinks were super accessible in 20m distance and very well-maintained and clean. We particularly enjoyed the tranquility in the afternoons and evenings. A small restaurant with a limited menu, pizza, and regional specialties, located right by the well-maintained and supervised pool confirmed the great impression we had from the start. This restaurant serves as a bar during the day, just as Italians love, and you can also find small items for daily needs here. My partner extensively used the spa area. The entire staff deserves special mention! Friendliness and helpfulness are at the forefront, and if you have a little command of the language, a small chat is always possible! To explore the surroundings, we used public transport and a small car. The surroundings are definitely worth it: Cinque Terre, marble mountains, and of course Tellaro and Lerici itself. One must know, however: You need to be fit on foot because it often goes steeply uphill. But the views reward the physical effort! All in all, we will come back and with pleasure!

No Customer Service

Unfortunately, we had to pay due to earlier returns for the reserved duration. No accommodation from the camping site. Apparently, they do not seem to need satisfied customers, even despite corona. What a shame!

Place with a great swimming pool
Very good8
Renate
The path to the place is already worth the trip, great gorges to the sea, but the road is a bit narrow and winding. Unique place arranged in terraces. You shouldn't come too late, as it gets booked up quickly, especially large campers won't find a spot anymore. The swimming pool is nice and big and is well maintained, as is the whole facility. The way to the sea is long through the village down to the sea, but it is worth it, don't give up! The food at the place was good, you can order rolls there for the morning. The showers next to the toilets are equipped with squat toilets, not great for everyone, but if you go around back to the washing machines, there are high-tech showers.
