Camping Gällivare

This campsite is so far the best we have ever been to! The sanitary facilities are very new, there is a huge kitchen, sauna and new washing machines.

The site has many spaces for campers, with and without electricity. Friendly welcome at the reception. The service house is currently being rebuilt, the old one burned down. The temporary structure is simple, functional, and clean. The site is directly on the road, it could be a bit louder there. All in all, it's okay for one or two nights.

Unfortunately, the site was closed for motorhomes, caravans, and tents from 08.09.22 until further notice. Unfortunately, there is no information about this in the app!

Easy access. The staff was very friendly. Even with an early departure, the money was refunded. Very tidy and clean. Will be a stopping place on our next trip.

Beautiful place, good location, sanitary facilities are clean. There was a sauna, at least for the gentlemen. The sauna was free, really great service. Nice location right by the water, the center was quickly accessible.

Camping site closed in winter 2018, open for rental accommodations, the related hotel is located above with direct access to the ski area, after a prior phone inquiry we were offered a parking space at the hotel with electric hookup and free sanitary and sauna use, easy booking and confirmation via SMS and email, access with an ascent on the last 800 meters is feasible - even in winter, very nice reception, hotel is currently being renovated, the view from the mountain over the valley is spectacular, well-maintained ski area, overall highly recommendable - despite the renovation condition (which is only partially relevant for us campers.

Pleasant reception. The RV pitches are too close together (gravel). Sanitary facilities are outdated but clean. Good stopover place.

With 170SEK without electricity, it's probably one of the cheaper places in the country! And everything is included: showers, washing machine and dryer, and even the sauna!
