Very well landscaped campsite with spacious pitches. The communal sanitary facilities were clean during the low season. We had a pitch with private sanitation, which was a small container. Unfortunately, this did not meet the rest of the campsite's standard at all. No shelves, no hooks, no outlet for a hair dryer, etc. the toilet as small as a children's toilet. A lady quickly came to "clean", but removing all the cobwebs and spiders was not part of that! At the end of September, it was also quite cold in the bathroom, as there was no heating/heater fan available. Price-wise, it was still okay at 29€ for 2 people. The nearby gas facility did not disturb us, but it might depend on the pitch location. In the associated holiday village, there are restaurants and a small supermarket. We did not test either. WiFi is free and was good.

Nice campsite, connected to a holiday home area. The water is not far away, but there wasn't a really large beach. The pitches are sufficiently large, many of them have a small playground in the middle. The sanitary facilities were always clean, but maybe a bit undersized during busy times. Overall, a nice campsite.

Unfortunately, we arrived in stormy weather and held onto the marquee's awning for the first two days. As five years ago, we were thrilled by the size of the pitches. We rented a corner spot that had room for a communal tent for two families. By day three, the sun came out, and we could go outside and explore the area. A ferry ride to Ameland or Schiermonnikoog is always a lovely experience, but one should reserve the ferry tickets at the park in advance, as only 30 people can fit on it. We will definitely come back.

Pros: - First contact/ booking - The staff is super friendly - The location is good (subjectively) - The space is very well distributed, the plots are more than sufficiently large (about 100 to 120 m2) - The wash house is thoroughly cleaned (the mess of some guests cannot be blamed on the site) - The prices in the supermarket, ice cream shop, fries stand, restaurant are reasonable (slightly higher than in the local shops) - The site is predominantly designed for families with children (up to 12 years) and dogs. - The holiday home settlement is worth seeing and, like the site, very clean. - The cycling paths in the area are very well developed. - And much more… Cons: - Internet on the campsite is limited. Overall, this is definitely a recommended site for families with children or campers who are not disturbed by families or dogs.

We were on-site for 4 days. We had a pitch with private sanitary facilities. On-site we were with two children aged 14 and 5. In the center, we had a playground. The 5-year-old liked that. The 14-year-old enjoyed biking over the dyke. The park is designed for guests with boats. The facility is built with houses in the style of a small Dutch town. Very nice. There is shopping and rolls available in this small town. In addition, there are snacks like fries, etc. Everything is very picturesque. Furthermore, the park offers an indoor play park and a swimming pool, both of which you could use for 1.5 hours after prior registration. That was all good. What was not good was that it was dirty. The private sanitary facilities were a hut made of ISOPANELS, which was full of spiders. The lawn on the campsite was mulched and remained lying there. In the other part of the park, it was not. So you always carried dirt into the caravan. In the evenings, the mosquitoes came, and staying in the awning was not possible. All in all, we were not very happy with the choice. A weekend in the house would have been better.

Very large areas for camping spots, hence very prone to wind. Few offers for children aged 14 and older. Swimming pool is ok but only with prior reservation due to Corona. Enough play options available for small children. Few activities in the vicinity during bad weather conditions. Poorly maintained sanitary facilities. Many insects were attracted due to constantly open doors, especially in the evening hours. Gas installation with noise pollution is located in close proximity to the campsite.

Very well-maintained campsite with large pitches, a nice swimming pool, and an indoor playground for children. Playgrounds and a small beach are also very close by. You can ride a bicycle wonderfully. Great for kids 😍 However, the sanitary facilities could sometimes be a bit cleaner, as well as the dishwashing areas.

Clean campsite with perhaps too few toilets for the campers. Good starting point for bike tours and to the island of Schiermonnikoog.
