Camping El Vedado

A place for emergencies, but nothing more, paths to the parcels partially inaccessible due to low branches or extreme ground ripples. There are old dilapidated caravans lying around. Sanitary facilities relatively clean but very old. There is a pool, which we did not use; it seems old but gives a well-maintained impression for its age. Reception run by a very old couple, very friendly. Noisy at night due to loud partying from the adjacent restaurant, and the road next to the site is unfortunately used as a racetrack. This must have been a beautiful place once, unfortunately about 30 years ago. The price is absurdly high for this site, €60 for one night (two adults, two children, and a caravan). Two stars for the long opening hours of the reception and the exceedingly friendly staff.

The place is beautifully located as described and is also quite peaceful. The sanitary facilities are okay, the water is not quite hot, and the showers spray everywhere. The older couple at the reception is very nice, but they don't speak English; however, they do speak French. There is free WiFi in the restaurant area, which provides decent performance. However, the price is excessively high: We haven't paid €24 at any place during the off-season. In Portugal and France, we often paid only half. And doing a load of laundry has never cost €7. The bus to Barcelona leaves at 9:45 AM and returns at 8:45 PM, taking about 45 minutes.
