Camping Eigernordwand

We were at this campsite over Easter 2023. Simply dreamy, right in the mountains. The north face of the Eiger every morning in the sunshine. The care provided by the Jossi family is perfect. Furthermore, the sanitary facilities have been completely redesigned, always heated and always clean. We are already looking forward to a few days in summer.

We have already been to the site for the second time. Unfortunately, this time the sanitary building was renovated during the main travel season and was closed. As a replacement, containers (including portable toilets) were set up. There were no sinks to brush teeth and no sockets to dry hair. Due to the circumstances, there was a 10% discount. Due to the mountain bike race, the site was also overbooked, and every available spot was used to place a camper.

Dreamlike location! Friendly nice staff. Sanitary facilities clean! Many leisure activities, very central and quiet!

This beautiful panorama is hard to surpass... Surrounded by the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, one cannot camp in a nicer place. You don't need to look for luxury like a sauna, swimming pool, and so on here; what more do you need than nature? There are no parceled pitches; you can easily find a place on the large meadow and set up where and how you want. Large wooden wedges for leveling are plentiful, and you can borrow adapters for the power cables at the information desk. The sanitary facilities are old but super clean!!! There is a small kiosk including a roll service, as well as a restaurant that is truly fantastic and also reasonably priced for this region. In about a 10-minute walk, you can reach both the gondola station, the cogwheel train, and the bus station, which makes it easy to reach all excursion destinations. You can even use the bus rides for free thanks to the guest card. In this region, there are countless breathtaking excursion possibilities and hiking routes. We always like coming here!

The view was grandiose of the mountains, beautifully secluded, in the middle of nature, spacious pitches, sanitary facilities super, close to the village, accessible on foot.

For campers who love unspoiled sites, this place is just right. No parceling, but camping on meadow land. Sanitary facilities are a bit old, but clean. What sets this site apart is the dreamy location right in front of the Eiger North Face. Don't forget your binoculars; you can watch the climbers as they make their way just before summiting the Eiger. The gondola to Mannlichen is reachable on foot, as is the Grund train station. It takes about 20 minutes on foot to reach the town center.
