Camping Durlach

Despite the renovation, a campsite from old times. For a price of 40 €, there are comfort pitches with electricity, water, and sewage connections at other sites. Normally, a pitch includes the car. A caravan does not drive alone. A laundry container for such a price is an affront.

A spot, despite renovation from past days, at a luxury price. The spot is very loud due to the train and road. The spot offers nothing except for a small playground and noise from the outdoor pool.

ADAC Camping Card was not accepted as they did not participate.

However, that is also where the positives end. €39 for an overnight stay is, in my opinion, overpriced. The sanitary facilities are clean, but cramped and uncomfortable. The entire campsite is under construction. Therefore: Price-performance ratio is not acceptable.

Fortunately, the only campsite in the area where dogs are allowed. It's not the place where one would want to spend a three-week vacation, but it is highly recommended for a short stay. The sanitary facilities (provisional in containers) are a bit cramped but very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I happily used the bread roll service. I didn't notice anything about the "very convenient location" at night. I felt comfortable at the campsite and will definitely make a stop there on future trips south.

The campsite is located in Karlsruhe-Durlach, not far from this suburb. Karlsruhe itself is easily accessible by bike/e-bike and worth seeing. The campsite is right next to the beautiful outdoor swimming pool. The sanitary facilities and the reception are housed in decent mobile buildings. Everything is clean and tidy. The reception staff are very friendly. Unfortunately, during our stay, there were a lot of construction works with corresponding noise. All in all, we enjoyed our week there.

The site was used by us as a stopover for one night. It is a manageable site that is currently being worked on. It seemed that part of it is being newly laid out. The sanitary facilities also appeared very provisional, housed in containers. The rolls in the morning were okay. There isn't really a shop. A few items are sold at the reception, but it closes at 6 PM.
