Camping Domaine Sainte Madeleine

This place is quite special. From here, it's easy to take day trips to Menton, Monaco, and even Sospel. The location in the mountains is a challenge - for cyclists, hikers, and climbers. As for the campsite itself, it offers a fantastic panorama in the evening overlooking the mountain slopes, creating a unique atmosphere. The farmer in the neighboring field adds a charming touch. The on-site staff is truly remarkable. From the very first moment, there is no rush. They are very patient when it comes to choosing a pitch and accommodate every request. The sanitary facilities are absolutely clean - there’s no discomfort, even if they seem a bit dated. The simplicity is what makes it special. Regarding access, fear not. Everything is doable. We managed with our trailer (tandem, 8.50m long, 2.50m wide) without any issues. The serpentine roads require a bit of patience - but it is absolutely worth it.

Sanitary facilities are old but clean. There is no restaurant or snack bar at the site. The next option for food is 4 km away. Bread can be ordered for the next day.

Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are from the early 20th century. However, the receptionist was very nice and the fresh bread in the morning was delicious. The view is worth a visit, unfortunately the infrastructure is not. Only suitable for people who seek peace. Due to the winding access road, the place is only suitable for small campers.
