Cons

Firstly, there are no clear signs for navigating the pathways of the campsite, making it almost a matter of chance to locate your mobile home, especially upon arrival. Proper signage is really necessary. Secondly, the animations need improvement. Finally, it’s baffling that there’s a day off on Wednesday in the middle of the week, resulting in zero evening activities. There is a proximity between the mobile homes leading to direct visibility. Location/Accommodation: Too much closeness between the mobile homes.

Cons

No communication. This is the first time I am at a Sandaya, even though we are camping enthusiasts. It could have been noted in our confirmation email that the balneotherapy was free. Furthermore, the organization at the entrance is very poor; you wait too long at the gate. There are missing signs for the orientation of the bungalows at the intersections. It’s a real shame. The price for visitors is also a bit high. But we will come back anyway.

Pros

An exceptional campsite due to its geography, infrastructure, and vegetation! The entire team is welcoming and very pleasant! A special mention for Lisbeth at the reception and Hanae at the restaurant whose smiles are contagious! We will gladly return! Location/Rental accommodation: Spacious bathroom

The pool is beautiful, with games for children of all ages. Location/Rental accommodation: The facilities are top-notch! Large fridge, cooking dishes, ample space in the room, a spacious shower, and a large terrace surrounded by hedges.

Cons

Part of the campsite is located next to a very busy road. Be prepared to wake up at 4 in the morning due to the incessant traffic of heavy trucks. The bedding is extremely stiff. The campsite is quite far from the beaches/harbor, you must take the car and anticipate long hours of traffic jams. Location/Rental accommodation: The bedding is a disaster, way too stiff! I stayed in a very noisy cottage: roadside + close to my animation stage. Despite the double glazing, it was not soundproofed at all...

The welcome from the staff is top notch. 👌🏻 Location/Rental accommodation: Very good, we were even offered another larger spot so we could enjoy with our children who were in the caravan.

The pool which is supposedly heated... is at 25 degrees. I have already been to campsites with heated water, and I can say that the difference is noticeable. Therefore, we could not enjoy the beautiful water park.

Since we drove home overnight, we couldn't be there in person at check-out. Regarding the inspection of our accommodation, we had to pay a deposit of 100 €. This is not a problem for us, as we were used to it from other campsites. The difference here is that we never had issues with the deposit. Unfortunately, the situation here is quite different. You receive a confirmation that everything was fine, that the deposit has been released, but after 3 weeks there is still no refund. When you inquire, you are repeatedly fobbed off, and the blame is turned around: * It is my own bank's fault * A debit from the account never took place etc. etc. Despite sending the account statement where the debit is visible, there is no concession. There is also no internal search for an error. It is supposedly my bank's responsibility and thus this is done for the campsite. Even though I considered coming here for a vacation again at check-out, this was my first and last visit.
