Okay for a stopover

I used the area for a stopover.. Many parking spaces under tall trees that provide nice shade. Friendly and helpful operators. The small pool is great for a little refreshment and perfect for the kids. Warm showers cost an extra 50 cents. They are not great but serve their purpose. The rest of the sanitary facilities are modern. Warm water for flushing is missing. The restaurant (which we didn't use) was well attended and very loud on Saturday until about 23:30. The site is good for a stopover, but I can't imagine longer stays there.

As a stopover place in the late off-season still OK

We chose this site for an overnight stay because the operating hours filter offered it, the selection of open sites at the end of October is really not plentiful, and we were looking for a stage overnight accommodation in the area. Despite having arranged by phone, no one was there and no one was reachable by phone at the given numbers. However, I did manage to track down a permanent camper on the deserted site, who eventually opened the barrier for us after a few phone calls with whoever. This allowed us to set up in the section with the not so nice permanent camper installations. It was just about overnighting anyway – it didn't matter, as no one was around. The washing facilities and toilets (don't forget the toilet paper) were reasonably okay, and the outdoor showers were in an old Italian style. We would have gladly kept our own kitchen cold – but the site restaurant did not seem to have just closed yesterday. The very friendly owner gave us a price that was very accommodating for Italian standards. For a stage overnight stay, it wasn't the best – but it was acceptable.

Can only recommend the place during the week, as on the weekends there are permanent campers and it was very loud until late at night. They party without regard and entertain very loudly, and only after I complained at 2 a.m. did it get quieter. Warm showers must be paid for with an extra 50 cents. Too expensive for solo travelers.

A typical Italian campsite. Very warm-hearted people. Those who seek peace and comfort should look for one with the appropriate rating. Those who love or want to get to know the Italian way of life are in good hands here.
