Camping Détente et Clapotis

This campsite is not particularly special, and the sanitary facilities are certainly not worthy of 4 stars. There are shared toilets and showers. It's unfortunate that male campers seem unable to refrain from looking under the stalls.

Pros

Nice places, a lot of space, enough shadow, in our case we had possibility’s during the whole day. A beautifull lake and environment. Pitch/rental accommodation: Big, a lot of shadow, Nice trees

Cons

The food in the restaurant was disappointing. Cold and soggy fries. Only the salad was OK. A little bit strange is that it is forbidden to cross the lake swimming. With a boat or sup its alowed, but you may not swim long distances. Nevertheless its possible if you avoid guarded times.

A nice stay at a beautiful campsite. Pitch/Accommodation: Excellent accommodation that lived up to our expectations relative to the price on a spacious site.

There is always some group that is disrespectful to others after 10 PM. Location/Rental accommodation: The bread arrives very late.

Pros

friendly and helpful staff, the water in the lake is pleasantly warm, well-kept swimming pool, partly indoors, partly outdoors. Good showers, clean sanitary facilities. At the end of the afternoon, they come by to collect the bread order for the next morning. You can also order at the reception. Around 09:00 -09:30 it is delivered to your spot. 😄 Baguettes as they should be: with a crispy crust 👌🏻. Good little restaurant with outdoor terrace, delicious sundaes.

Cons

the locks on the sinks at the end of the campsite do not close properly. These doors cannot be locked. Not really a big deal, though. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Pebble beach, does not get hot underfoot, but don't forget to bring swim shoes.

Nice cottage, but nothing extraordinary. I would have been less strict if the price had been adequate. However, 721 € for two nights led me to expect a higher standard. Location/Rental accommodation: Isolated location. Nice jacuzzi.

Cleaning needs to be improved. Dog allowed for an additional fee at the campsite but not permitted on the beach...

The reception! Very friendly! Lake Paladru is excellent! Pitch/rental accommodation: The lighting was modest, so not too bright.

The value for money compared to other campsites in France. Pitch/rental accommodation: Everything was okay!
