The location directly behind the dune near the beach is simply stunning. A very good restaurant is available, including a roll service. The pitch/rental accommodation: the dream location.

We can only recommend the site and will definitely come back. All staff were incredibly friendly and kind. The food to take away from the restaurant was delicious and the portions were more than sufficient. It is also very suitable for children. The only issue was with the showers, which sometimes didn't allow me to manage with 50 cents. However, this was not a problem. We booked a spot for our caravan via Pincamp, but they sent us to a small camper area. On site, we quickly received a huge space for our caravan without any discussion. Amazing! Pitch/Rental accommodation: Yes, it was great!
It would be nice if the showers warmed up faster, then we could also manage with 50 cents. But this was not a problem for us. The freshwater connection was unfortunately a bit far away. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Everything was impeccable.

Easy to drive in and out of the campsite without having to check in and out Pitch/Rental accommodation: A delightful spot. We enjoyed it!
Sanitary building, dishwashing area, and vegetable washing area should be located at more spots and in a different place due to the smell of the toilets and the crowd

The tranquility present at the campsite is very enjoyable. Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: It was a cozy family campsite for us.
More sanitary facilities would be beneficial. For tent guests, meaning without campers or caravans, you should not be placed too far from the toilets. Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: We were too far from the toilet.

The fascinating Wadden Sea to the west and the Bolswardervaart canal to the east make Camping De Zeehoeve a popular holiday destination for anyone who enjoys spending time by the water. Swimming and boating, fishing and relaxing are popular leisure activities at this family-friendly campsite. The proximity to the town also brings many advantages, and nothing stands in the way of holiday shopping and attractive excursions.
The seasonal campsite in the north-west of the Netherlands welcomes guests from April to late October. Boat owners are particularly drawn to the direct access to the water. Camping holidaymakers can bring their own motorboat, sailing boat or canoe to Camping De Zeehoeve and launch them here. Passionate anglers will also enjoy the two lake areas and, with a bit of luck and the appropriate fishing licence, can catch their own fresh fish for dinner. The campsite is spacious and offers pitches on both grass and sand. In addition to the pitches for permanent campers and the permanent accommodation units on site, the ten-hectare site offers 200 guest pitches. These are all parcelled out and are partially surrounded by bushes and shady trees. Each of the pitches, which measure between 90 and 140 square metres, has an electricity connection. Some are also equipped with a fresh water and waste water connection. A total of three sanitary buildings are available to holidaymakers at Camping De Zeehoeve. Guests who have already spent their holidays here appreciate the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere, as well as the three playgrounds for children. The food and drink on offer in the restaurant is also very popular. In addition to buffets, guests can satisfy their appetite with snacks, burgers and sweet delicacies.
A nice walk along the dyke or a short bike ride and holidaymakers have already reached the town of Harlingen. Here you will find everything a camper's heart needs: Shopping opportunities, catering facilities and interesting excursion destinations. The Hannemahuis cultural centre, for example, offers changing exhibitions and events, and in the Harlinger Aardewerk & Tegelfabriek, visitors can marvel at the craftsmanship of ceramists and tile makers. The craft has a long tradition here and has been practised since the end of the 16th century. Shipping has an equally long history. Guests can take the ferry to the Frisian island of Terschelling and spend a wonderful day on the more than 20 kilometres of beach.
