After the expansion, significant weaknesses in detail
Unfortunately, with the expansion, it's not as good anymore. The new area C is just a parking space, paved strips for the camper, plus a 4-meter-wide grass strip, no hedges, no trees, or other wind/sun protection. So far, okay, but the full price is charged as on the other sites. Additionally, you c… More

Nice place behind the dike
We were here for the second time and we really liked it again. There is plenty of space in the green area and there is a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Dogs are welcome, unfortunately some unteachable people do not dispose of their waste on the dike. Roll service is available and sufficient Wi-Fi, new… More

Beautifully Located Campsite
The location of the campsite is beautiful. Close to the lake and the lovely place Harlingen. Sanitary facilities are clean and adequate. However, there is hardly any peace at the campsite. Even at night, glass recycling and waste disposal is taking place. There is also little respect for lunchtime q… More

Good Campsite ...but
Campsite OK.... sanitation a bit outdated but okay.... that some campers don’t know why toilet brushes are in the toilets, the campsite can't be blamed for that; do such people behave like this at home as well? Subsequently, the following... at the fields there is a water tap available respectively.… More

Good as a Stopover
Rating 3.5 (since that isn't possible, I chose four stars). Facilities and condition are okay, but not suitable for a longer stay. Relatively small pitches (about 70m2 for our motorhome). At least very good Wi-Fi. Despite the location between two busy roads, surprisingly quiet at night. Currently (s… More

A beautiful campsite right behind the dyke. The road and cycle path run between the dyke and the site. It is about a 15-minute walk to the beautiful harbor town of Harlingen. Ideal for a day trip to Terschelling and the island of Vlieland. Shopping at ALDI is an 8-minute walk
Parking spaces available for all vehicle sizes. Electricity and wastewater on site, and there are also some parking spaces with fresh water connection. Wi-Fi available at the site, although weak. (to be upgraded with fiber optic) Sanitary: Hot showers with a 50-cent coin, cold washing facilities, wa… More

Nice Campsite
Beautifully located campsite. Sea just behind the dike. Close to the charming Harlingen. Good, somewhat more expensive restaurant. Rolls can be ordered. Very friendly staff. Sanitary facilities clean. A bit older. Shower requires 50 cents. Only cold water for washing up. Wi-Fi only for 1 device, but… More

Gastronomic offers
The fascinating Wadden Sea to the west and the Bolswardervaart canal to the east make Camping De Zeehoeve a popular holiday destination for anyone who enjoys spending time by the water. Swimming and boating, fishing and relaxing are popular leisure activities at this family-friendly campsite. The proximity to the town also brings many advantages, and nothing stands in the way of holiday shopping and attractive excursions.
The seasonal campsite in the north-west of the Netherlands welcomes guests from April to late October. Boat owners are particularly drawn to the direct access to the water. Camping holidaymakers can bring their own motorboat, sailing boat or canoe to Camping De Zeehoeve and launch them here. Passionate anglers will also enjoy the two lake areas and, with a bit of luck and the appropriate fishing licence, can catch their own fresh fish for dinner. The campsite is spacious and offers pitches on both grass and sand. In addition to the pitches for permanent campers and the permanent accommodation units on site, the ten-hectare site offers 200 guest pitches. These are all parcelled out and are partially surrounded by bushes and shady trees. Each of the pitches, which measure between 90 and 140 square metres, has an electricity connection. Some are also equipped with a fresh water and waste water connection. A total of three sanitary buildings are available to holidaymakers at Camping De Zeehoeve. Guests who have already spent their holidays here appreciate the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere, as well as the three playgrounds for children. The food and drink on offer in the restaurant is also very popular. In addition to buffets, guests can satisfy their appetite with snacks, burgers and sweet delicacies.
A nice walk along the dyke or a short bike ride and holidaymakers have already reached the town of Harlingen. Here you will find everything a camper's heart needs: Shopping opportunities, catering facilities and interesting excursion destinations. The Hannemahuis cultural centre, for example, offers changing exhibitions and events, and in the Harlinger Aardewerk & Tegelfabriek, visitors can marvel at the craftsmanship of ceramists and tile makers. The craft has a long tradition here and has been practised since the end of the 16th century. Shipping has an equally long history. Guests can take the ferry to the Frisian island of Terschelling and spend a wonderful day on the more than 20 kilometres of beach.
