If you want to experience a carefree holiday in Friedland and value a family atmosphere and peace and quiet, then Camping de Wedze is the place for you. It is located in Twijsel on a site that resembles a park. The campsite is an ideal starting point for cycling tours along the alder canals and through the Lauwersmeer National Park. With a bit of luck, orchids and golden eagles can be spotted on the tours. On arrival at the campsite, holidaymakers receive extensive information about walking and cycling tips. The pitches are located on a well-kept lawn. WLAN is available throughout the site.

🤝 you could choose your own pitch, also extension cords were lent out for this purpose. The area was picturesque and beautiful. The sanitary facilities were clean. 👎 You are free to choose your spot and they are spacious. There is enough hot water to do the dishes and you can set the shower yourself. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and could choose our pitch on the beautifully maintained grassy area ourselves. Power connections are always nearby.
