We were at a Huttopia site for the first time and enjoyed our stay. We found the space allocation particularly good. Very large plots (which have no boundary stones or hedges), the large open areas in front of the plots that can be used by everyone. The peace because cars are only allowed on the premises during arrival and departure, while everything else is done on foot, with hand carts or by bike. The dreamy location by the Vechte. Although it felt like 80% occupancy during Pentecost, almost exclusively by families with children, we really found peace here and were able to relax.

The campsite is great. The pitches offer ample space and the power columns are easily accessible. Water points are centrally located and there is drinking water available from the taps everywhere. Unfortunately, the power supply is only secured with 6A, but it's included. When we were there, about 6 of the nearly 300 pitches were occupied, which made us a bit suspicious. There is a swimming beach for children and adults. Alternatively, you can go into the river on the other side. Fishing, SUP, kayaking, canoeing, or tubing are also possible. The washrooms are clean and are cleaned daily, but unfortunately they are not heated. You have to wash up outdoors. However, showers and hot water are included. We think the campsite is great!
