Camping De Pallegarste

The campsite is very clean, the fishing pond is beautiful, and there is a playground every 100 meters. Additionally, there is a pool, a water playground, an indoor play area, and a petting zoo with goats and chickens.

We had a wonderful stay at the campsite with our family, including kids and the dog. Our kids loved the fantastic playgrounds throughout the campsite as well as the swimming pool. Our dog was able to have a great time in the dog area. It would be beneficial to have dog waste bag dispensers installed throughout the campsite near the trash bins, and not just at the dog area, otherwise one must always remember to take enough from there. The offers with Palli were also nice.

A very nice, well-maintained campsite with friendly and pleasant staff, although there are a few minor drawbacks. The animation was only in Dutch, which made it a bit difficult for my son to understand, but he still had fun. The triangular rolls from the shop were almost inedible (like rusks), while the Kaiser rolls were very tasty. The water in the pool was relatively cool, but this didn’t bother the kids at all. Ice cream was very popular, not just among the kids. The food at the restaurant was also delicious. You just need to know that you can order dishes from the lunch menu after 5 PM as well, contrary to what is stated on the menu. Also, you should know that you can order food from the snackbar to eat on site or take away. The non-alcoholic cocktail was very tasty and refreshing. As mentioned, the staff was very nice and friendly, but sometimes they could keep a better overview.

The campsite is very good 👌👌, the only thing to criticize is the mattresses in the beds, which are very unsatisfactory and way too soft !!!

The entire stay was very good. The sanitary facilities were very well maintained, and the staff was very friendly. However, the swimming area was too small for so many guests and was always very crowded. We also found it disappointing that swimming in the own lake was not allowed because it was indicated online, and pictures at the entrance showed that there was a lake for swimming. But otherwise, it was very nice.

Positive: there are tons of opportunities for kids, whether it's raining or sunny, they are always occupied. The prices at the kiosk or for ice cream are reasonable and normal. Arriving and departing is nearly automatic, which is fantastic. The team is always nice and friendly, helping with all requests. Every day there is a full program for the kids or the family. Negative: The washrooms and toilets are unfortunately not very clean. Of course, it gets busy, but unfortunately, the cleaning is either too infrequent or of poor quality. We waited over an hour for our food at the restaurant. We asked three times, and it still arrived far too late. Waiting an hour for food with four kids is quite annoying.

We highly recommend camping De Pallegarste for a family vacation and would happily return any time. We particularly enjoyed the many different play options available for children of various ages. On the downside, we were not satisfied with the beds. Unfortunately, our mattresses were quite worn out. Additionally, our bathroom had a persistent unpleasant smell. We suspect mold. Some points that were somewhat bothersome, but did not affect the overall impression, are: - The front door opens in the wrong direction (likely a standard mobile home) - No cushions for the garden chairs - The refrigerator door opens in the wrong direction (making the passage very narrow) - Missing fly screens in the living area.

I went there alone with my son to camp, it is a paradise, he was super happy, and I was very relaxed. We didn't have a minute of boredom, with playgrounds, the water park, the lake, and the program that was offered, you can't ask for more. The staff is very friendly, the grounds are very clean and tidy, you can just walk barefoot all day.
